First visit for 5 years and I can't imagine why we let that gap happen. The food was superb - top quality ingredients cooked to perfection. The service was very friendly and the price was much less than I anticipated.

Lime Tree – Didsburyvery good food and friendly atmosphere.
Chinese Delight Restaurant – BoltonThe best food in Chinatown
New Emperor – Manchester City CentreTHE place to eat a kebab in Manchester. It also passes the very important test of being edible the night after you only managed half of it. The amount of times I awoke to half a kebab and noshed it for brekki! Oh student days where have you gone?
Abduls Fast Food Restaurant – Manchester City Centrethe best curry house in manchester, handi chicken and the masala dosa being favourites.the puff rice starter was excellent though beware, its rather hot !!!!this has become the only place we'll eat our weekly curries !!!!
Punjab Tandoori – RusholmeA fantastic place but suffers badly due to the proliferation of smokers who seem to be there all day every day. A no smoking section is very much needed especially as so many people bring their children with them
Lead Station – ChorltonOutstanding food, with a very wide variety of unusual dishes. Worth a visit to try a couple of the specials.
Westwood East Bangladeshi Cuisine – Oldhamwith this restaurant, when i talk about the cost i'm referring to the incredible value lunchtime buffet. Not that much choice but unlimited food well under £10 is in my book superb !
Beijing, The – Manchester City CentreExtremely good. A relaxing atmosphere. Would definately recommend this for lunch as lunchtime specials are reasonable and exceptionally tasty!
Evuna Deansgate – Manchester City CentreSuch a pleasure for all of the senses.
Evuna Deansgate – Manchester City CentreThis is most definitely the BEST Chinese in greater Manchester. It is also quite expensive but you get what you pay for. Their Beef with Scrambled Egg is superb. No Whites of egg used, just yolks (very creamy) with melt in the mouth beef.
Yang Sing – Manchester City CentreThere is no doubt about it - by far and away the best Chow Meins in Britain !
New Emperor – Manchester City CentreRather small restaurant but you can eat in the bar area. Food is wonderful, well cooked and presented and plenty of it. Considering they get so busy the service is very good.
Church Inn – CheadleStart to set tables for breakfast really early leaving few tables for dinner.
Table Table Pub and Restaurant – CheadleThis dining room is just to small , and the local drinkers still feel like the diners are in their way , yet the pub advertises food on the A boards !!
Church Inn – Cheadleexcellent meal, and the surroundings were breathtaking.
Stock Restaurant – Manchester City CentreVery good middle eastern restaurant.
Petra – RusholmeThe Thai food was good but the service was terrible! I just walked through the door when the waitress cornered me for my hi-life card, we hadn't even sat down. Then the waiter didn't show us to the table, he just pointed and said "your table's over there". The service was very poor, they were unfriendly and they didn't smile, not the usual friendly Thai service you would expect. It really ruined the meal which was otherwise good.
