The food is exceptional, the service outstanding and the atmosphere brilliant. I can't wait to go back and try the thai section upstairs.

Pacific – Manchester City Centre30 seconds away from the bright lights of the trendy modern bars and clubs that make up the Printworks sits the very old, but nevertheless magnificent Sinclairs Oyster Bar. Nicknamed 'The shambles', the building is a small wooden hut with two floors where the crowd, old and young alike come for an after work drink or to start a night on the town. Anything goes!! It has to be seen to be beleived, you will fall in love with the friendly atmosphere and the cheap beer, (Homebrew no less. The pils is lethal!) The pub was moved after the manchester bomb in 1996 and withstood the bomobs of WW2, the history is literally on the walls!! It proves to be a second home to many mancunian drinkers. Sitting outside in the nice weather is a must!!! The grubs not bad either!
Sinclairs Oyster Bar – Manchester City CentreFantastic food, service and live (modern) jazz! What more could a forty-something couple want? Seriously, this place is underpriced. My advice - get some while it's still cheap... Mr & Mrs Barrett.
Blacksticks Restaurant – EcclesExcellent food and prompt service. A good menu choice and wide selection of quality drinks.
Casa Belmondo – RoytonA really well thought out menu of good, simple well done food. The roast pork is excellent and I too thoroughly reccoment the chocolate desert. Really generous portions of god quality food.
Bistro West 156 – DidsburyI first went to Lams Cottage for my 21st birthday. I have never seen such service. Quick, yet I could tell they had taken the time to prepare my meal properly, and the Hot Ors D'Euvre are devine. If you like Chinese Food, then Lams Cottage is for you with food to die for and service that is second to none!
Lams Cottage – UrmstonI visited on 29/11/03 at 8.30pm. We were given a very dark corner. The music was so loud that conversation was impossible. Good starters but when has spare ribs, tuna in mayo and plain chicken legs been Greek. We were also over charged for drinks. Very dissapointed. Next time Dimitris
Bouzouki By Night – Manchester City CentreThis restaurant is in Ashton-u-Lyne and should not be confused with the Indian Ocean Restaurant in Oldham (different ownership). Although the Indian Ocean has been open for over 10 years and we have been regular visitors from the opening day in August 1993, a major (£250.000) refurbishment has just been completed during the latter part of 2003. This is now an Indian Restaurant like no other! The food at the Indian Ocean was always excellent but now it can be enjoyed in the most luxurious surroundings. The General Manager, Mr Nahim Aslam, has wisely decided to devote about 90% of the dining area to non-smoking. Smokers can use the lounge area (a totally separate room). Although I would have preferred a total non-smoking policy in the dining area, I think most smokers would be happy to refrain from smoking in such a palatial ambience.
Indian Ocean – Ashton Under LyneNicely decorated, cosy atmosphere. Didn't feel rushed to finish our meal. The food was tasty with a good selection to choose from. Somewhere to go for a special occassion as it was a little pricey.
Blacksticks Restaurant – EcclesGreat menu - excellent range of dishes, great food, great service and good ambience - we'll definately be back!
Amici – StockportArrived one lunchtime and had the largest portions didn't eat dinner till 9.30 !!!
Armenian Taverna and Restaurant – Manchester City Centreeven though there are stair's to this restaurant my nana is 70 and struggles getting up stairs but when we come here she is up there first as she knows how good the food is.this is the best restaurant in china town
Pearl City Cantonese Restaurant – Manchester City CentreHigh quality restaurant food in a pub setting. One of my favourite places to eat in the area. Dining room is small though and booking essential, as its very popular. The table d'hote menu is exceptional value for money with a good choice, and the specials are exciting and change regularly
Church Inn – CheadleFaboulous place. Saw add in the Guardian and City Life. They also have another Restaurant in Bramhall. They are in Cheadle Village as well. Very good atmosphere. BYO policy.
JAS JAS JAS – StockportFantastic restaurant, Great chef especialy young benjamino who doesnt work there enough these days. Great staff and a alrpound great experience,Entertainment on wednesdays is great for groups of young men.
Casa Nostra – WesthoughtonThe set menu early in the week is excellent value for money. However, meals on Friday/Saturday can soon become more expensive. The quality of the food and surroundings is very good no matter when you eat there. There are some interesting wines on the list, and usually a blackboard special well worth trying.
Bistro West 156 – DidsburyI often eat at Nandos before going to the cinema. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a table, and find that the food is always delivered promptly. Their jugs of cocktails are gorgeous!
Nando’s – DidsburyGreat Night - not many in. FOOD GOOD. they let us BYO the wine and with only £2.00 corkage per person. would go again. Great biscuits with the coffee- made on the premises.
