Que Pasa Cantina – AigburthAfter booking a table 4 weeks in advance for a big celebration we were phoned the week before and told that they could not honour our booking. The reason was they don't take large bookings on a Friday. This was after 2 phone calls and actually calling into the place to confirm. They have no customer service ability or sensibility. A lot of our party had been numerous times before but will not be returning.
Elif – AigburthThe best Turkish restaurant in the north west by far. The food is incredible. The ambience is relaxed and the staff are really friendly - all in all a tremendous dining experience. You feel like you're in Turkey when in the restaurant ! I would recommend Elif to anyone !
Elif – AigburthWhen this place first opened it was a great addition to the lark lane community, I'm sorry to say since then we have been sadly disappointed by the general service and running of the place. The food is good for the price but not good enough to ignore the service by the more mature waiting on staff, thumbs up to the youngsters whose apologies stop you getting up and leaving!
Bistro Noir – AigburthHad a great meal here: food was lovely and it has a nice friendly feel inside. They also seem to do a lot of weekday deals.
Bistro Noir – AigburthWent to Bistro Noir on a Tuesday for the cheap £10 deal which included a drink. Could not fault any part of our meal or the service. Friendly staff and owner and great atmosphere, lovely vegetarian choices, excellent price, will be back soon!
Bistro Noir – AigburthWe went to Bistro Noir in the evening after the Royal Wedding....really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The staff are really pleasant, the food is lovely and the desserts are to die for!!
Bistro Noir – AigburthVery disappointing menu, food and service Poor presentation and quality of food Such a shame as it could make a FORTUNE in that location. Message for head “” chef”” Creativity. The creativity of a person is already a part of him when he is born. However, if this quality is not developed in a person, this will not have positive results. Head chefs need to be creative above anything else. This may sound harsh but practically anybody could work out a meal with a recipe. However, the taste and presentation of such a meal will depend on the creativity of a person. Thus, for meals and recipes to be as delectable as these can be, creativity is essential. Thanks,
Esteban Mediterranean Tapas – AigburthAnother visit, another outstanding meal. The wonderful thing about this place is that the service is just as outstanding as the food. You can linger all you like over your meal - the staff don't hurry you, and you can be sure that as a result you'll be back again & again - just like me!
Elif – Aigburthbeautiful ! high quality fresh ingredients with too many tasty sounding options.portions are big especially the starters.try the reshmi chicken ,it melts in the mouth.service really good ,maybe a little stuffy at times but overall fab.i could eat their 5 times a week !
Red Fort – AigburthHave been visiting Esteban's for a number of years, but was extremely disappointed with both the service and food on a recent visit. After having booked a table we had to wait 35 minutes to be seated and whilst we appreciated it was busy, the attitude of the person in charge towards us was both condescending and unhelpful. It's a shame if Estebans becomes too complacent as there are other Spanish tapas restaurants clients can go to for similarly priced meals and more authentic food.
Esteban Mediterranean Tapas – AigburthGreat Jerk Chicken with Rice & Peas. My girlfriend had the Tilapia, which she said was delicious too. Staff are all really friendly, and the atmosphere is good. Plus it's bring your own, so good for an informal and cheap meal.
Raggas Caribbean Cafe & Takeaway – AigburthAfter reading the reviews, we decided to pay a visit. The food was very good and so was the service. Mo and the rest of the waiters were very attentive. The food was full of flavour and you have to have the chutneys with poppadoms, ( 6 different ones. fantastic ). all in all a very enjoyable meal. We will be going back and making it our first choice curry house.
