Pizza Hut – Birmingham City CentreI visited Iguanas with my 2 grown up sons a few weeks ago.. Though the service was a little slow the Raspberry Vodka Martini's kept us happy!! We had a selection of tapas.. The Calamari was cooked to perfection and if not fresh then very good quality, the garlic bread had a slightly burnt taste to it which although sounds awful was in fact delicious and added a wood oven authentic taste. The char grilled chicken nacho's were a feast too! To follow we had the yellow fin Tuna which even though it was overcooked was really tasty. The Rib eye steak was guarded closely by my son he admitted that it was as good as any eaten in Argentina!! The only disappointment was my asparagus salad which only had one spear of asparagus.. but then that serves me right for not picking something a little more adventurous!! All in all a wonderful meal and extremely good value for money and whilst the service was a little slow it wasn't a problem as the atmosphere was great. We will definitely be visiting again...
Las Iguanas – Birmingham City CentreMy friends and I love this restaurant, fantastic food at very reasonable prices, and walking distance from home. We also love the full size decorative tree in the middle of the restaurant - this is even more exciting when a few drinks have been consumed prior to dining!!!
Koh-I-Noor – Birmingham City CentreWe go back this restaurant all the time as the food and staff are fantastic. The menu is exciting and changes regularly and the wine list caters for all tastes and pockets. This is the only good italian in the city that is excellent in all areas.
Cielo – Birmingham City CentreThis restaurant is a real gem. Lovely location, with a terrific ambience and decor. The service is attentive without being intrusive, and the cuisine is to a very high standard. In fact, the weekday lunch set menu, with 2 courses for £ 6 or 3 for £ 9 is a steal. The a la carte menu is extensive, reflecting malaysian, Thai and chinese influences. Overall, a high quality restaurant that is definitely worth a visit.
The Oriental – Birmingham City CentreThe food is ok. It is sort of like a club disco lights dj partying i love the dancing on the tables and the smashing the plates outside i would advise you to go here
Athens Restaurant – Birmingham City CentreThe cost maybe slightly high, but then it is Birmingham City Centre, BUT....the food is the best I have ever tasted, well worth the money!
Jojolapa – Birmingham City CentreExcellent chinese restaurant, have been many times. Sunday lunch buffet very good.
Henrys – Birmingham City CentreThe only restaurant in Birmingham that can be called Real Italian. Fantastic food, good service with a smile
San Carlo – Birmingham City CentrePizza hut is a very good place to go and have lunch or dinner there. The service is outstanding. And the food is incredible its amazing.
Pizza Hut – Birmingham City CentreThere LOGO is the best kept secret in town. I agree! Outstanding food at very reasonable prices. Will return very soon! Very pretty waitresses?
Primitivo – Birmingham City CentreVisited with 40 colleagues from work just before Christmas, so you can imagine how busy it was - the staff were fantastic, food was divine. Everyone had a wonderful time. I'm not from Birmingham but if i was visiting again, i would definitely return to Thai Edge.
Thai Edge – Birmingham City CentreHaving frequented many Birmingham restaurants. I was glad to find a good Italian that does good honest food without the price tag. Dinner for the six of us, entrees and mains and 3 bottles of wine, came to £15 per head. The wine list was good not too expensive either. All in all it great for a romantic dinner for 2 or a group. I will go back again and again.
Strada – Birmingham City CentreHave used on and of for best part of 15 yrs. Must still be the best and most consistently good Cantonese restaurant in Birmingham.
Henrys – Birmingham City CentreThis is my favourite Chinese restaurant in Birmingham, and probably anywhere. The Dim Sum (lots of Chinese starters) is excellent and there is a very wide variety on the menu. Although it is more expensive than other local Chinese restaurants I still think that the prices are reasonable. Two of us have eaten there for less than £25 between us and have been totally full up. It is usually very busy and the food is always fresh and good quality.
Chung Ying Garden – Birmingham City CentreMade very welcome on arrival and a very nice looking place. Drinks brought to us whilst we waited in bar to be seated. Its worth going a little earlier so you can have a drink in there before sitting down and also browse the menu. I had whole lobster for my main, expensive as you would expect with lobster, but it was well worth it, absolutely delicious. Also had oysters at start with bread which was also nice. Girlfriend had duck which was gorgeous too. All in all a very enjoyable night and would definitely go back. Be prepared to spend some money, but there are cheaper options than what I had, in fact mine was probably the most expensive dish at £30
Opus – Birmingham City CentreWhat, you haven't tried Bedders yet? Go and find out what you are missing... Fish and chips as it should be!
This Is Bedders – Birmingham City CentreThis restaurant was very lovely from the inside, the decorations were all very good so was the food, but the only downfall was the price, quite pricey for my liking.
Shimla Pinks – Birmingham City Centre
