Chez Mal Brasserie – Birmingham City CentreI went out to Fumo with a few friends for after work drinks last week. I liked the vibe of it – the plates are perfect sizes for sharing and the cocktails taste great as well! Helped me relax after a stressful day in the office! It’s only a few minutes away from New Street so was easy to get home after our drinks!
Fumo – Birmingham City CentreI visited this bar for the first time 2 weeks a go with a group of friends to catch up, it was the perfect setting for the occasion, the staff were great and the drinks were splendid, such a great vibe, I can't wait to visit again!
Bodega – Birmingham City CentreSan Carlo is an excellent dining experience! There have been a few local celebrities as well at San Carlo’s, footballers especially like the place, which adds to the excitement. The menu has a lot of variety and is not overpriced, so you always get value for money with quality food. A very reliable, high quality restaurant.
San Carlo – Birmingham City CentreNice friendly club with live karaoke. Bartenders are all nice, friendly and cute. No smoking room inside, nor a mirror in the toilet, not many people during weekdays but that's expected. Music is good and a great place for a fun night out with friends. Definitely worth checking out.
Xl’s Nightclub – Birmingham City CentrePauline, her wonderful fiance Derek and her staff were exceptional in every single way!!!!when they catered my brother's wedding ont the 15th July 2012. I am an event organiser and I can tell you I have done a lot of weddings and I have worked with a lots of different people. and I can tell you Pauline and her staff are the best caterers and the best people I have had the pleasure to work with!!! They were professional from the very first phone call… and it was like working with a friend that I have known for years. Nothing was too much for me or my family…E.g. My son has autism and he also eats certain foods. I called pauline and ask her if there was anyway she could cook some salmon separately from him and my 2 year old daughter. Pauline didn’t even hesistate.. She said ‘of course!!’ … and cooked a tray full for them. Also as a coordinator on the day I was rushing around trying to make everything as perfect as possible. and I rushed around so much and her food was so tasty that wasnt any left for me!! But little did I know that Derek, (Pauline’s wonderful fiance) had put some food to one side for me… I couldn’t believe that he took the time out to do that for me!… I am reccomending The Deep to as many people as possible.. Because they are simply truly the best EVER!!!! And they are the only people I will ever recommend if i am doing an event or if anyone else is doing an event!..

Fumo – Birmingham City CentreI came to your new restaurant on monday 11th to sample the menu, i have to say every detail, the food, staff, decor all totally excellent! the food was authentic italian to a standard much higher than i imagined. The waiting staff were in fact the most attentive, polite and helpfull with the menu, and i have eaten in alot of restaurants but yours surpassed anything i have experienced. Well done and keep it up. I will be coming back very soon.
Fumo – Birmingham City CentreIf you are one who has extravagant tastes then Saffron Birmingham will cater to your every need and occasion. In terms of dining experience, atmosphere, quality of food and customer service. If you haven’t been to a Saffron branch then you cannot really call yourself a “foodie.”
Saffron Indian Restaurant – Birmingham City CentreDining here has always been a pleasant, no experience for me and my friend. Well done.
Ming Moon Chinese Restaurant & Bar – Birmingham City CentreI visited on the evening of Friday, February 17. After checking out several other restaurants in the nearby Chinese area, I decided to choose the Ken Ho - from the outside it looked nice and there were a few other diners.I went fairly early, around 8.30pm, and many other restaurants were pretty dead, maybe it was weather. The food, I had satay duck, was average - the rice was sticky and not fluffy. Although there were only three other tables occupied when I went in, the customer service was abysmal. The young girl who served me was fine but after the food arrived I was just left.I needed a knife, but unable to catch the eye of the staff who were chatting at the bar and doing some cleaning, I had to walk up and ask for one.I finished my drink and would have ordered another if I had had the chance but no one noticed my glass was empty and I couldn't be bothered to walk over to the bar again. After my plates were cleared I had to catch the eye of a waitress to get my bill.I paid and as I got up to leave none of the staff even bothered to say goodbye or thank you - one sour faced waitresses just stared at me as I walked out - she probably noticed I had not left a tip.I would not recommend this restaurant.
Ken Ho Restaurant – Birmingham City CentreWhy is everyone raving about Tin tins? Me and my friend went there the other day, and it was the worst Chinese meal we'd ever had. The menu is awful - boring descriptions. We ordered different mains and yet the sauce (I'm sure) was the same in each! gloopy and very disappointing. Meat very chewy. Could have made better at home sorry to say. Old fashioned decor and big screen playing youtube videos..?! No thanks.
Tin Tin Chinese Restaurant – Birmingham City CentreThe food was absolutely rubbish i ordered some meat samosas and they tasted like vomit,
Lasan Restaurant – Birmingham City CentreFirst time I have been to Annexe had a good time food was very good cant wait to go back again.
Annexe – Birmingham City CentreWent for the first time Saturday night with my partner and our friends four of us in total. From ringing up to book to the treatment when you arrive very professional and courteous. Lovely atmosphere and great surroundings. The food was fabulous would recommend to anyone had the sea bass, cooked perfectly and generous portions, the cannelloni went down well as did the scallops and the veal. Nice wine and the owner was great company. Must try restaurant. Frances
Locanta – Birmingham City CentreAs a lover of Chinese food and being Asian myself, i feel i have the knowledge to review such a brilliant restaurant. The atmosphere was buzzing in the centre of the multi cultural city. As i arrived at the breathtaking welcome from ken ho himself i felt privileged to shake such a well known business mans hand. As i sat down with my complimentary prawn crackers i was greeted by a young waitress called Kristy, she was very polite and advised us to have the hot pot, which in itself was a splendorous meal. The fusion of different flavours of the sea complimented each other well and i couldn't ask for much more... apart from whats on the desert menu. i ordered the banana fritters with ice cream. ORGASMIC!
