Saint Caffe – Birmingham City CentreDon't visit Birmingham often, found this through Sugarvine and cant say we were disappointed, the staff were very attentive but not bothersome, and even put us in the quite room for some privacy rather than the main dining area, the food was fantastic even if I wasn’t adventurous enough and when for my usual Penn meat balls, but i have to say that my meal was topped of nicely with vanilla ice cream on crepes with plenty of lemon and sugar, beautiful well done to all involved see you again soon hopefully.
Pasta Di Piazza – Birmingham City CentreThis is one of the best Indian restaurant around the city centre for eating vegetarian food (sorry can't comment on non vegetarian as i am a pure veggie eater). There preparation is great, and is highly authentic Indian, and they adjust to your taste the spices if you tell them so. I have been to this restaurant at least 50 times, and everytime there was smile on my face when i went out, very warm staff.
Maharaja – Birmingham City CentreWOW!!!!! The food is amazing, the service is excellent and not over powering, very comfortable restaurant. The prawn crackers with a bit of chilli oil on....mmmmmm Salt and Chilli Ribs.....Amazing!!! Singapore Noodles.....i could live on these!! I think I will!! Sweet and sour Prawn balls to die for. The food is the best I have ever tasted anywhere and is becoming my absolute favourite to Indian and Pizza (which I love), I think there is no comparison. 18/10 Overall 20/10 Food 9.5/10 Service Fabulous, give them a try!! You wont be disappointed
China Court Restaurant – Birmingham City CentreHappened upon this restaurant when going to a concert. This is the best Chinese I've ever been to. Fab food. The vegetarian set menu was delicious - it's always hard to find decent vegetarian food on a menu.
Tin Tin Chinese Restaurant – Birmingham City CentreThis place is brilliant - 4th time here, very clean and efficient service - no rush to finish quickly, variety of starters and main courses to suit to everyone. Chicken and Fish dishes out of this world!! Thank you for a great meal - recommend to anyone.
Rainbow Cantonese Restaurant – Birmingham City CentreLove this place been several times, first found through Sugarvine but now i know its here we visit whenever in Birmingham. Feels like your somewhere away from England!!!
Pasta Di Piazza – Birmingham City CentreLovely place, great for a romantic informal meal or just a group night out drinking, i have been several times now and one of my fave venues in st pauls square, very relaxed atmosphere, the staff are always very attentive too. keep up the good work guys.
Rectory Bar and Restaurant – Birmingham City CentreWe had our xmas party last night and the food was awful. The pasta was not cooked and had just come out of the microwave with no veg in it. Others were served cold food, leftovers cheesecake. Swordfish with no sauce when asked they were given a saucer of tomato soup, disgusting. Would not recommend. Expensive wine, waiters are too busy to serve you at the table. No water in the ladies toilets to wash your hands disgusting. Dont bother !!!!!!! you have been warned !!!!!
Athens Restaurant – Birmingham City Centrethe worst sushi i've ever eaten. i couldn't even be bothered to complain. nothing but endless cheap crabstick variants. avoid.
Shogun Sushi and Noodle Bar – Birmingham City CentreGood authentic all you can eat Caribbean(Jamaican) food - I have been a couple of times and the food was a real plus both times. Drinks are a bit pricey and boosts up the cost quite a bit but this is balanced out with the food quality, set price and the wide variety of dishes on offer. For example we went there - 7 of us 3 adults and 4 healthy eater children worked out with drinks as about £13 per head The format allows you to be able to get the stuff you want in the amount you want in a combination you want. I will be going again The only downside is a tad small and narrow so if you have a large group it is a squeeze
Deep Caribbean Experience – Birmingham City CentreWent to itihaas last night, food and service was disappointing. menu was overpriced we spent over £500 for 15 of us. Wouldn'T recommend it to anyone all dishes tasted the same.would never go again.
Itihaas Indian Restaurant – Birmingham City CentreBedders is probably the best Fish and Chip in the UK period. But there are problems! Their portions are way too small, the price is far too high for the quantity they give to you and their opening hours are totally abnormal compared to other fast food outlets. Ali Fish Bar and Mirpur Kebab House are not as good but they are cheap, their portions are very generous and there opening hours are from 11am to 2am 7 days a week. So if you are hungry and only have £1 and it is around lunch time then I would advise you to go Ali's or Mirpur Kebab House as you will get a hell of a lot more chips and your fish will be a full sized one as opposed to a half of a half which one usually gets from Bedders so take your pick!
This Is Bedders – Birmingham City CentreI went to Miyako a few weeks ago and loved it! The food and service were outstanding and it was a great night out as it was also very entertaining due to the chefs cooking the food in front of you. It's the perfect place for a group of you to go for a special occasion.
Miyako Teppanyaki – Birmingham City CentreI have visited this restaurant many times and i am a regular for many years at the sister restaurant chung ying where the manager is really friendly and myself and husband have a meal their every month even travelling in from staffordshire to do so ..Food is fab and i would recommend either of these restaurants.
