Pino Pizza and Pasta – Selly OakI have used this excellent restaurant since 1985 and have never had a bad meal. The staff are extremely friendly and efficient and the food is excellent and reasonably priced, too. The restaurant has been extensively refurbished over the years and is ideal for an intimate meal for two or for a night out with friends or colleagues. Highly recommended...give it a try.
Banu Indian Restaurant – HarborneVisited here now several times now and think the staff are always very attentive, and the food in my opinion is the best in brum. A very nice atmosphere all round either for a group party or a romantic meal for two. Well done guys!!!
Royal Watan – Selly OakNovermber 2008 Karen Went to the restaurant for a birthday celebration this was the first time my guests had been, we all had a fantastic night the atmosphere was very friendly. Umberto entertained us and recommended some excellent food for my guests. We all had a lovely evening and from this my friends have all recommended others, we would like to wish them all the success for their new location.
Gian Carlo’s – Hall GreenGOOD ATMOSPHERE, EXCELLENT FOOD, GREAT STAFF, SUPERB VALUE FOR MONEY. USED THE RESTAURANT SEVERAL TIMES OVER AN EXHIBITION PERIOD AND WAS NOT DISSAPPOINTED THAT WE HAD GONE BACK AS GREAT CHOICE OF EITHER INDIAN OR ITALIAN.
Duet Cuisine – Fort DunlopNice quiet atmosphere. Food was great. loved the king prawns (my fave). would definitely recommend, if someone wanted a nice quiet evening out. go on, see for yourself!
Kirans Bhalti Restaurant And Takeaway – WednesburyI have eaten at the Banu Indian Restaurant many times and have enjoyed every visit. The staff are always very friendly and polite and the food is served to you promptly. As I am someone who does not really go for 'hot' Indian dishes, I enjoy several meals on the Banu's menu. I appreciate that if you are looking for a hot hot curry then maybe this is not the place to go but I would highly recommend it for anyone who likes good Indian cuisine and a nice evening meal out!
Banu Indian Restaurant – HarborneGreat food and service. Both Italian and Indian cuisine are of the highest quality. Highly recommend. Need better signage to let people know that your there though. I have been using the travelodge for a couple of years now and only just found out that your tucked in the corner. Looking forward to coming back
Duet Cuisine – Fort DunlopNice little coffee house, with plenty of choice and also lots of yummy pastries!!!
Saint Caffe – Birmingham City CentreDon't visit Birmingham often, found this through Sugarvine and cant say we were disappointed, the staff were very attentive but not bothersome, and even put us in the quite room for some privacy rather than the main dining area, the food was fantastic even if I wasn’t adventurous enough and when for my usual Penn meat balls, but i have to say that my meal was topped of nicely with vanilla ice cream on crepes with plenty of lemon and sugar, beautiful well done to all involved see you again soon hopefully.
Pasta Di Piazza – Birmingham City CentreLove this place, it's one of moseley's little gems, food is weird and wonderful and i love it!!!
K2 Kashmiri – MoseleyI decided to try Valentino's Credit Crunch Menu. It was well worth it. I had risotto for my starter and and fillet of Plaice for my main course. I even had a tasty dish of Tiramisu all washed down with a very tasty free glass of wine, all for£14.95. I Felt as if I'd been out for a very expensive meal and felt very satisfied !!! Thanks valentino's
Valentinos – Harbornedilshads in blackheath have awesome food, i eat everywhere but dilshad is the best.
Dilshad Balti – SandwellMy husband and i have eaten here a number of times and have always been delighted with the service and welcome given. Staff always happy to suggest something different if you just fancy a change from your usual preferences. It is a reasonably priced Asian restaurant. The food is very tasty and the portions are generous. It's also suitable for families with children and for that special birthday party or other special occasions. The decor is excellent as its now under new management and newly refurbished. The food was very tasty and unique, every curry tasted different and fresh, along with a pleasant atmosphere. Well worth what we paid. Will most definitely visit again!! Highly recommend...

Dilshad – WolverhamptonAVOID !!!!!!!!! A terrible attitude from the manageress towards vegetarians and particularly vegetarian children. We had went in, looked at the selection and decided that there was not enough veggie choice. As we were leaving a waiter asked us to stay and he would 'see what he could do' so we thought, 'ok, fine', let's stay and ordered drinks. When i looked more closely at the foods they did not even have plain noodles or fried noodles and i enquired if it was possible to have just plain or fried noodles as my veggie kids are too young for spicy food. The ill mannered manageress started making a scene as if we were being fussy, i tried to explain what the waiter had said, but she just started shouting. My wife was embarrassed at the ridiculous hand waving scene that the manageress was making and so my wife just wanted to leave. The manageress insisted that we pay for our drinks which had just arrived at our table. Plain noodles was obviously beyond their abilities (despite the fact that we pay full price and eat no meat/fish). So i paid for our drinks (which we did not even sip) and left. I sent a letter of complaint but got no reply. My strongest advice would be to avoid this place and go to Modern China, a hugely better buffet and the management is far far superior, they not only do fried noodles as standard, but actually asked us if we wanted the chef to make us a veggie curry, no extra charge. This is our regular place now and the decor&ambience is superb and amazingly is cheaper than Buffet Island. GIVE IT A WIDE BERTH IF YOU ARE VEGGIE OR LIKE GOOD SERVICE
Buffet Island – ErdingtonHad a fantastic meal last Friday. As a restaurant owner myself, who no longer lives in Birmingham, I asked around for a recommendation and found the spice merchants. We had a one year old with us and the staff provided a high chair and plastic tub for rice and could not have been more obliging. There were dishes that stood above the usual Balti selections such as vegetable Sambar, Lamb Gulbarg and a ' Gourmets choice' of sizzling meats from the oven. The chili fish had a deep and flavoursome chili burn. The food was not too oily and well presented by friendly staff. The menu also offers a chefs speciality which is a welcome addition to often formulaic Indian menus and there were interesting kashmiri specialities too. Can't wait to return and this restaurant provides more evidence that Kings Heath is an up and coming area to dine in. James Taylor, Owner Chantek Restaurant, Truro, Cornwall
Spice Merchants The – Kings HeathThis is one of the best Indian restaurant around the city centre for eating vegetarian food (sorry can't comment on non vegetarian as i am a pure veggie eater). There preparation is great, and is highly authentic Indian, and they adjust to your taste the spices if you tell them so. I have been to this restaurant at least 50 times, and everytime there was smile on my face when i went out, very warm staff.
