small servings of food that was barely warm
George Stevenson – WalsallWhere can i start, we have never eaten here before. My partner had the fillet steak (to die For!) and i had the squid starter with chili and tomatoes added, (recommendation by the waiter). I am still dreaming of the food today and we are definitely going back. This is the best food we have had in a long time !!!
Giovannis – ShirleyWe have been here several times and the food is lovely try the Chicken Jalundi. The staff and food have both been very pleasant and made our dinning experience brilliant. Definitely recommend
B26 Food Of India – SheldonWe often eat out, as we enjoy takeaways, and we was happy to visit this shop on our journey back to London. The shop was really stunning to view and inside, although quite warm as expected, was really clean. The chap serving me was well spoken, and polite, as well as happy to talk to me whilst serving my order. The food was great, and cheap too. I especially enjoyed the fish and chips I ordered. It was a shame they didn't serve spring rolls that my wife had wished for, being vegetarian, but the veggie menu was extensive enough to substitute that request with a nice cheese and onion pasty. Thanks for the lovely food. Next time we will be in Birmingham visiting family, we shall return...
Bournville Lane Fish Bar – StirchleyVery disappointing experience. We only ordered a main course (and some garlic bread to nibble on) as we were off to see a concert in Symphony Hall. We were seated by 18:30 and placed our order. Our garlic bread arrived at the table next to us (who hadn't even ordered yet). When our neighbours ordered their food it arrived promptly. By 19:20 - we still had no food and no-one appeared to have noticed. As we had to be at Symphony Hall by 19:30 we had to leave. Hungry and having consumed a bottle of wine which only added to our hunger. When we actually stopped someone to express our dissatisfaction and to advise we would pay for the wine but had to go, there was no apology or empathy and he simply walked off to get the bill. Needless to say we didn't wait for that, we left the money on the table and walked. Considering that when we arrived the restaurant was not exactly busy (which is why we chose it) I dread to think how they will cope on a busy evening ! There was nobody actually managing the service and we were just left unattended. Being so hungry actually ruined my evening and whilst I loved the concert I was left feeling light-headed. Thanks for ruining my night Cafe Rouge. Would never go back there and would always recommend to my friends not to go there. I have never been left without a meal EVER - ANYWHERE !!
Cafe Rouge – Birmingham City Centreit's about time we had a decent coffee shop round here, i work at allsopps, round the corner but only tried it because it was recommended by Sugarvine and it's nice to have a large selection of not only coffee but organic sandwiches. well done guys
Saint Caffe – Birmingham City CentreLove this place have been several times and love the food here the food always tastes fresh and the fact that you cane take your own wine makes this place the best!!! well done Carlos
Gian Carlo’s – Hall GreenI was keen to write this recommendation, after visiting this shop. I live about 3 miles away, and I am a regular at Dad's Lane Chippy. However, upon my 'detour', I discovered this little food heaven. The chips were delicious, well worth the short wait for fresh chips. I also enjoyed the chicken kebab I ordered. It was delicious. I shall be back soon, if not for the chips, then for the really nice two gentlemen working there, as they were so polite, keep up the good work lads!
Bournville Lane Fish Bar – Stirchleyi went to the chip shop , which my friend from America had recommended, and i was shocked! the food was excellent, well above the standards of most, the staff was really happy to serve and even had time to chat to me. the shop is immaculate and clean, and the price was great too. i really hope success comes to this pace for many many years- well, they can count on my custom from now on !!!
Bournville Lane Fish Bar – StirchleyMediocre service, ignorant manager. Rather quality of food, on a par with (some) motorway service stations. One to avoid. Very lax
Badgers Sett – Beefeater Restaurant And Pub – StourbridgeI went to this chip shop by accident I did not know it was open. The chips were lovely and it was definitely the best ever fish I have tasted. The staff were all friendly and eager and keen to receive feedback. I would definitely recommend this chip shop it is now my favourite.
Bournville Lane Fish Bar – StirchleyThe food was absolutely disgraceful. I found a hair in my soup, which was also cold. When complaining, the manageress was rude and obnoxious. Not only were we standing around waiting for 40 minutes regardless of my wife's back problems but when finally seated it took a further hour before our starters came. After the starters FINALLY arrived, the main courses were shocking, to say the least. Vegetables were practically rotting on the plate and the potatoes were dry. Related to this, the plates were filthy which was very off putting. However, the puddings were lovely and the waiting staff were excellent and very apologetic. i recommend you go somewhere else to avoid the disappointment and devastation we experienced. SORT YOUR PUB OUT.
Blake Barn The – Sutton ColdfieldNot what it used to be before renovation. Such a shame.
Albrighton Balti Bazaar – WolverhamptonA superb Italian restaurant serving authentic Italian Food. Great to see an Italian chef in the kitchen. Well worth a visit if you like good food. Service is excellent, nothing is too much trouble. AAAAA+
Giovannis – ShirleyNot what it used to be before renovation. Such a shame.

B26 Food Of India – SheldonWe have just moved to the area and go to the Meadow Lark at the weekends the food is great and a great place to bring children. Also there are great deals on and good entertainment on a Saturday.
The Meadow Lark – DudleyWe frequently dine at San Carlo on Temple Street and have never had a bad thing to say about the restaurant. The service is always brilliant, the restaurant is immaculately presented and very clean and the food is delicious. I happily recommend San Carlo for any occasion - to my work colleagues who are taking clients out for lunch, to my friends and family who want to go somewhere special and with great food, or to random people on the Internet on these listing sites. Fabulous restaurant in a great city centre location!
