Shimla Pinks – Birmingham City CentreExcellent place to go whether with business associates, friends or family.
Shimla Pinks – Birmingham City Centrenow im not one for writing reviews on food but this place is fantastic. My ex partner and myself would travel 25 miles just to eat here. The food is superb and modestly priced which was surprising. We would spend an average of £20 for starters, main meal and drinks for the 2 of us. The meat is cooked beautifully, and the curries are so creamy. This place is a great place to go for an enjoyable and tasty night out.
Shere Khan – ErdingtonI've been here a couple of times now, and I'm hooked!! it's a great night out, and it's entertaining as well as a meal. It's definitely better to go as a group though rather than just a couple because it adds even more to the already fantastic atmosphere.
Miyako Teppanyaki – Birmingham City Centreive been to spice exchange many times now and will continue to go. the food is outstanding, the service is way better than you get in most places and the prices are reasonable too. what more could you want!
The Spice Exchange – StirchleySumptuous sauces, tantalising Nans and succulent meats combine to offer an exciting and euphoric eating experience, one of the best in south Birmingham. HOWEVER, be aware, the place's usual tranquility gets usurped after 11pm when pi***d up Mike Skinner wannabes dripping in fake gold and sometimes up to two mobile phones hanging form branded B.F.C. lanyards attired in lacoste, nike and addidas shimmer as they fall trough the door with their plastic bags full of Carling or Stella Artios or "wife beater" as it is locally known. Except in summer when checked shirts are substituted for sleeveless t-shirts to display their gallery of tattooed swallows and odes to dead relatives and a consensus of their offspring, should they forget to claim maintenance When this happens the ambiance is replaced by crackling mobile phones placed on the tables unclipped from the lanyards whilst blasting out some repetitive song in which the only the words audible are n****r and shank. Although the quality of food is just as good and the staff endeavour to remain as amiable as they were an hour before. Braving the tirades of NF chants about P*** taking their jobs, food fights and the odd outbreak of a fight, the waiters unfazed are as attentive as ever almost protective especially when you accidentally stir one of the clientele's anger by ignoring an insulting comment aimed at your dinner guest.
Akrams Kashmiri – StirchleyAs regular customers we can assure you that the quality of food in this restaurant is always excellent and the service friendly and efficient
Fortune Inn – ShirleyNot easy to find but worth the effort. We had a light lunch - toasted sandwich and burger- both very good and special requests (eg hold the garlic) were accommodated without a problem.
Warehouse Cafe – Birmingham City CentreFirst Class Service, Very helpful kind staff, Fresh cuisine cooked and prepared while you wait. OUTSTANDING FOOD, WELL RECOMMENDED!
Induz – Sutton ColdfieldMantelis, is a very friendly cafe, where you are made welcome no matter how busy they are. You feel part of the family when you leave!
Mantelis – Kings Nortonthe only place to go if you are shopping or live in northfield.Great service highly recommended
Clock Cafe The – Northfieldi was very impressed with the food and service at this restaurant. although the decor is run of the mill and average, the service and food provided surpasses that. the price was incredibly reasonable. four people ate out under £40 including drinks. various set meals available and reasonably priced. i promote this restaurant for those on a budget- WELL WORTH IT!!!!!!!!
Shirley Spice – ShirleyThe menu seems very wide chose put not a lot on the menu for vegetarians, only two things ,on the main menu, which is a shame ,because it is a lovely place to eat and very child friendly as well
Sheldon Hall – Sheldonwe come here lunchtimes at least twice a week, its not expensive at all. The food is fresh and the service is friendly and laid back, quite quick and unobtrusive. The steak in mushroom sauce is to die for. They are also doing art exhibitions now which makes for something interesting to look at while you eat. We had the best chips ever here, really very tasty. Highly recommended for daytime eating
Cross Cafe Bar – MoseleyWe visited The Garden House one sunny afternoon, we were delighted by the size of their garden and the surroundings. We ate there and would recommend the Steaks my partner is very fussy how is steak is cooked and it was just perfect. The staff are delightful a real home feeling. Would definitely return.
Garden House The – Edgbastoni wasnt a big fan of indian curry until a mate told me about this place an now i cant stay away i love it. its fantastic
Dilshad Balti – Sandwelli like to go here regularly. The food is excellent and prepared infront of you, and you can start eating it within 4-5 minutes! it's NOT your typical "Indian", and there are many different north and south indian dishes to try, which i have never seen in birmingham before DEFINATELY something everyone should try out!
Shobhas – ErdingtonBrilliant. I recently organised a dinner there for 24 of us. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was served fairly quickly, generous portions and delicious. Because the restaurant is BYO, it also keeps the cost down. The total was £214 for the 24 of us, and that was with us ordering more food than we could eat (the nan breads are huge). I would say one of the best currys (let alone baltis) I've had in a while. Really excellent.
