Crown The – Sutton ColdfieldSumptuous sauces, tantalising Nans and succulent meats combine to offer an exciting and euphoric eating experience, one of the best in south Birmingham. HOWEVER, be aware, the place's usual tranquility gets usurped after 11pm when pi***d up Mike Skinner wannabes dripping in fake gold and sometimes up to two mobile phones hanging form branded B.F.C. lanyards attired in lacoste, nike and addidas shimmer as they fall trough the door with their plastic bags full of Carling or Stella Artios or "wife beater" as it is locally known. Except in summer when checked shirts are substituted for sleeveless t-shirts to display their gallery of tattooed swallows and odes to dead relatives and a consensus of their offspring, should they forget to claim maintenance When this happens the ambiance is replaced by crackling mobile phones placed on the tables unclipped from the lanyards whilst blasting out some repetitive song in which the only the words audible are n****r and shank. Although the quality of food is just as good and the staff endeavour to remain as amiable as they were an hour before. Braving the tirades of NF chants about P*** taking their jobs, food fights and the odd outbreak of a fight, the waiters unfazed are as attentive as ever almost protective especially when you accidentally stir one of the clientele's anger by ignoring an insulting comment aimed at your dinner guest. Royal Watan – Selly OakWELL THE VISIT TO THE WATAN WAS A BIT OF A DISAPOINMENT BEING A CUSTOMER AT THE RESTAURANT FOR MORE THAN SIX YEARS!! THE VISIT ON A MONDAY NIGHT WAS AND ME AND MY WIFE WAS THE ONLY DINER IN THERE THE WAITER POINTED US TO THE TABLE AND ASKED MY WIFE FOR POPADOMS THEY COME OUT AND ONE OF THE WAITER CAME OVER TO TAKE THE ORDER THE POPADOMS WERE SOGGY AND HAD A FUNNY TASTE SO I SENT THEM BACK WE ORDER SOME STARTERS AND NOT WHAT WE ORDERED EVEN THEY WERE HARD (OVER COOKED IN THE MICRO MORE LIKE IT ) SO I ASKED MY WIFE TO TO PAY FOR WHAT WE HAD AND LEFT NEVER GO THERE AGAIN IT JUST REALLY UPSET ME WHAT A NICE PLACE IT USE TO BE WHAT A SHAME.
Royal Watan – Selly OakI was very cynical about visiting restaurants in Birmingham as the food in Melbourne, Australia where I live is outstanding not only in quality but pricing. I found the food at The Jade Wok on my visit quite comparable and easily measures up quality wise to a good Chinese restaurant in Melbourne. Very good indeed. GB, South Yarra, Melbourne, Australia
Jade Wok – SolihullMyself and my Girlfriend love this place, very friendly, good service excellent food. Ian Jones, Hall Green.
Bangla Lounge – HarborneI was lucky enough to come across this chippie when I was last in Birmingham and I will definitely be going there on my next visit. I chatted to the owner who said he had just bought the shop and I think he is doing a fantastic job with it. Keep it up and see you next time. p.s I love the furniture. Keeping it real!!
This Is Bedders – Birmingham City CentreThe most gorgeous food and great surroundings - I actually felt like I was in Mexico! Bottomless soft drinks are a great idea and saved us a few quid. We couldn't finish the large serving of fajitas or tacos. Will be going again (and again!)
Chiquito Restaurant and Bar – OldburyQuite simply, my favourite Balti restaurant. If in Birmingham try it. It isn't salubrious but the food is all that matters. The naan breads are enormous. especially pashwari nan and akram special nan is very delicious well done lads ten out of ten
Akrams Kashmiri – Stirchleyi used akrams for a number of years all my family and friends use akrams regularly. they make us very welcome food is excellent service out of the world cater for kids portion atmosphere is to experience music is very relaxing. all can say akrams is very contemporary restaurant the best in balti in Birmingham give it a go.

Royal Watan – Selly OakMyself and my partner eat here at least once a month. Simply the best restaurant in Birmingham.
Bar Estilo – Birmingham City Centrei love kafe karachi food.i love charga they made best best one.i love nehari as well.kafe karachi's food like pakistani.i love to go there again and again.
Kafe Karachi – Balti TriangleI've been a customer of Bedders for as long as I can remember, and seen three generations of bedders in that time. The fish and chips has always been exceptional, literally the best by far in the midlands, and customers would travel for miles to wait in the always long (but fast moving) queue. However, I visited recently and for the first time, hardly any queue, and the food didn't quite taste the same. Also, none of the Bedders family in view, - have they sold up?
This Is Bedders – Birmingham City Centrei go Akram's almost every week in weekend there food is excellent but service is good. there kashmiri fish is very nice and tasty i never forget the taste of the kashmiri fish which they brings on sizzler with fresh mushrooms onions, tomatoes. the taste of kashmiri fish is excellent. and the the taste of there meals is very good specially tandoori mix special. my wife she like butter chicken too much. when i go there i use different types of meals but she like butter chicken and korma. there nans and egg fried rice is Delicious but i cant forget the taste of pashwari nan . service is good but not as you say excellent. but they provide good food and time. i checked many restaurant but the taste of the Akram's restaurant i never found any restaurant in England the taste of Akram and the taste of mumtaz restaurant in Bradford is same.
Akrams Kashmiri – Stirchleyhave visited this place twice as the decor is very nice and i felt it may have improved however i wont be going back as the service is dreadful, terribly long waiting times, items missing from the order, coffee arriving before desserts, and the waitress generally not knowing how to do things properly. dirty dishes where left deposited on tables, although she had started to clear them up she just moved them to another table and left them. very disappointing, also the manager/landlord has a very loud voice and was obviously trying to promote a proposed new building to his guests which where seated near our table - it was like charades!
Bassetts Pole The – Sutton ColdfieldExtensive menu and the food is of a consistently high standard. Friendly family run restaurant. Taking your own drink helps keep the cost down though prices are very reasonable anyway. Have found no other restaurant to compare with Imrans and I know many regulars travel quite a distance to eat there.

Royal Watan – Selly OakMy boyfriend took me out to San Carlo's a couple of weeks back for our anniversary. We both had a lovely evening and they gave us a good table away from the crowds. The food was great and the staff were really good in helping us choose the perfect wine to accompany our meal .The whole evening was really romantic and we were surprised at the reasonable price of the bill. Will definitely be eating there again!
