Vine Inn – StourbridgeWe had two fantastic meals on Friday night at the Vine, the service was perfect and the food was delicious, nicest steak we've had in a very long time.
Vine Inn – StourbridgeGreat food & great service - what more could you want…
Da Gino – Sutton ColdfieldIt was our first visit to The Vine yesterday lunchtime and we all had a very enjoyable meal. I think I can safely say that everyone agreed that it was a good choice and we will certainly be returning in the future.
Vine Inn – StourbridgeAfter a lovely walk at Clent an evening meal and a pint was the perfect end to the day. The food was brilliant, all the elements were freshly prepared and extremely tasty. Service was spot on and the Wye Valley Butty Bach easy drinking. Couldn't be faulted.
Vine Inn – StourbridgeDisappointed.... This pub used to be excellent, but scruffy staff, expensive drinks, poor service, and a lack of atmosphere made this experience a disappointing one... The food was OK, but the starter was only warm, and we had to ask for the veg side dish that was supposed to come with pepper chicken. Definitely not as good as it was.....
The Red Lion – CoventryGood as ever. Excellent food and service . Staff are most welcoming and make the evening special. Highly recommend
Da Gino – Sutton ColdfieldWent with Grandaughter last Tuesday. Excellent meals & drinks. Super service from the two young ladies.
The Red Lion – CoventryHad a Camembert sharer for starter, 10oz rib eye with chips and trimmings, cheesy garlic bread on the side. Food was impeccable couldn’t fault it, steak cooked perfectly medium rare, lots of bread with the starter and a lovely chutney - plenty for 2 to share. Went midweek so was very quiet and drinks took quite a long time to come to the table. Staff all very pleasant. Bill was about £100 for 2 meals (starters and mains) and a bottle of Prosecco which I thought was okay for value given the food was all so lovely. Will definitely return.
The Red Lion – CoventryHadn’t been to the vine in nearly a year and pleasantly surprised the atmosphere hadn’t changed. A short delay in the table upon arrival but staff were initially attentive. Shame to see that table service wasn’t up to its previous amazing standards. Firstly, they seem to have done away with the bread roll and butter as an appetiser. Secondly, both my partner and myself were left for quite a long time with empty glasses yet it wasn’t overly busy. The lemon sole was excellent and the garlic new potatoes were lovely. It’s a shame my partners sirloin wasn’t so good. She does like her meat well done and it was very over done on the outside. Yet somehow still bloody and pink on the inside. Too polite to complain so ate the meal. The vine has always been an amazing place to eat and hopefully it was just an off day
Vine Inn – StourbridgeIt was our first visit to Da Gino, and we did not know what to expect, but we were delighted with what we found, the Restaurant is very comfortable and welcoming, the staff very obliging, and the food and the whole experience was most enjoyable.
Da Gino – Sutton ColdfieldSecond visit in as many months for family meal ,This place doesn't disappoint on flavour or options. all five of us have had a different meal on either occasion and all have been impressed (even my "bro" who is hard to please at the best of times )
Vine Inn – StourbridgeOnce again we had a lovely meal, the service from all the team was first class as always. Well done to all the staff.
Vine Inn – StourbridgeMy friend and I had a lovely meal. The young staff were extremely good and very accommodating of my friend who is gluten intolerant.
The Red Lion – CoventryAvoid peak times, gets vey busy, bar staff cant cope. If you dont mind waiting not a problem. Other than that all good
The Red Lion – CoventryWe had an early evening booking, the food was extremely tasty I had the swordfish which had been charcoal grilled with a Mexican salad, both excellent. My wife had the duck which was very tasty but not as pink as she likes it. The staff are 1st class and could not do enough for us. Very relaxing atmosphere and a pleasant experience. Good value for money, and we will definitely return soon. Thank You All
Vine Inn – StourbridgePopped in for dinner after having my haircut at Francesco. I booked online, really easy to do, waitress was very welcoming and we chose where to sit - ordered drinks and looked at the menu. So many lovely choices - I chose prawn and Avocado, Rob had pasta Ragu. For mains we had penne Gino with king prawns, and monkfish Both dishes were delicious!! Gino was very friendly and we chatted …. A lot !! Italy, wine, Harborne and so much more. Unfortunately we didn’t get the waitresses name, but she was an absolute superstar, a real asset to the restaurant. So nice to have authentic Italian food in the area We will be back for sure
