Vine Inn – StourbridgeThe Vine is a lovely pub in Clent. Great for after a walk to pop in for a drink or have a meal. Relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. Yesterday I had a nice walk then lunch. Highly recommend the duck with sweet potato purée with tender stem broccoli! It’s was delicious! See you again soon xx
Vine Inn – StourbridgeLovely food, good service, one of our favourite locals.
The Red Lion – CoventryExcellent food and relaxing atmosphere Always look forward to visiting
Da Gino – Sutton ColdfieldMy husband & I visited for a valentines meal. The service was exceptional and the waiters were very attentive. We both had a 3 course meal and it was delicious with good portions, I would definitely recommend a pasta as a starter as it was divine! Great atmosphere and would definitely visit again!
Da Gino – Sutton ColdfieldLovely pub with a lovely relaxing atmosphere. The food was excellent and high quality. We were greeted with friendly staff, we weren’t rushed to order. I chose the beef wellington which is one of the best I have ever eaten, cooked perfectly and served by caring professional staff. The price of the food was reasonable for the excellent quality and quantity. There is nothing negative I can say about the vine. Well done to everyone at the vine.
Vine Inn – StourbridgeMy wife and I went for a mean on Valentines Day. First of all I have to say the food good although a very limited menu. However imagine your table is as far away from the main area as is possible, you are situated 20ft from the kitchens with the hustle that kitchens make and 20ft from the toilets whose door bangs every time it’s used - and you wouldn’t believe how many times a toilet is used. Further to that the music - which can best be described as a poor imitation of a karaoke with people who clearly had no singing ability - was very loud and not appropriate for a romantic meal - and of course to crown it all - we had a speaker right over the table ! The couple on the next table had there final course as a takeaway - I wonder why?
Da Gino – Sutton ColdfieldA lovely restaurant. Pleasant and helpful staff. The food was lovely.
Da Gino – Sutton ColdfieldNot sure what’s changed but gone downhill. Found the service poor and not attentive. It’s just not like it use to be.
The Red Lion – CoventryMe and my husband visited for the first time for Valentines Day evening meal. As soon as we arrived at this quaint little country pub we were greater with such honour. The pub holds its tradition through with its gorgeous open fire and ceiling beems. The atmosphere was great, although out for a romantic meal for two the locals and staff were super friendly so we had a good laugh or two. The reason we picked The Vine as apposed to any where else was based on the set valentines menu which included traditional homeworker meals with an al'carte twist. Before arriving I knew I was going to choose the beef Wellington, so was excited to be able to place my order. I opted for the pan seared Scallops with chorizo and Saffron, my husband ithe Italian mushroom. For main we both ordered the beef Wellington. The scallops were cooked to perfection and my husband said his Italian mushrooms were also very nice. Service was quick and precise with no pressure to finish. The main event, the beef Wellington! Wow what can I say, it did not disappoint, absolutley to dye for. The fillet melted in your mouth. I am not a huge fan of chips but they were beautiful. 100% made the right choice. We then decided to go for pudding as it was included in the £32.50pp set price. I went for something light, raspberry pavlova and my husband hot chocolate brownie. Both were a perfect size and again absolutley delicious. For a first visit I was blown away!! There is nothing I can say as a negative and would be definitely be returning again. Thank You the Vine, for making our valentines day so special!!! Highly recommend!!!!
Vine Inn – StourbridgeReally great service, great food and couldn't fault anything
The Red Lion – CoventryWe visited to take my partner's Mum out for lunch. It was surprisingly busy for a Monday lunchtime but we had booked ahead. Food was excellent and extremely generous portions. The staff were obviously run off their feet as several large parties had turned up on spec but this didn't matter much to us as it turned out visit into a pleasant extended lunch.
Vine Inn – StourbridgeWhy does their food taste so good? Because it is made with love..... The best Chippie in Birmingham by a long shot. A lovely couple, who actually care about their customers and are also fully aware of the cost of living crisis , hence still selling their mini fish & chips ( with choice of sauce or peas) for 4.80! Amazing. May they "Carry On Cooking" for the next 40 years .
Dads Lane Fish and Chip Bar – MoseleyFood always great here. Been visiting for about 15 years. Lunches always excellent value, great tasting & big portions from sandwiches to foreign chicken dishes, premium burgers, game, seafood & steaks. Sunday roast is my favourite in the area…. Beef is amazing quality & always nice roast spuds & veg selection with it, a nice reward after a walk in the hills. Nice drink choice & ambience & service too. Recommended. Cheers team.
Vine Inn – StourbridgeFriendly and welcoming. Staff were quick to seat and take our order. Food was delicious.
The Red Lion – CoventryGreat food. Lovely setting with the log fire. Great value and good range of local food. Nice bottle of bordeux (or two) to wash everything down.
Vine Inn – StourbridgeThe service from all staff was excellent, food arrived in good time all orders correct, good portion sizes and everyone enjoyed their meals. Late amendment to booking and seating request was all handled really well and the whole team enabled us to have a lovely evening
