Back for a 3rd time, and you didn't disappoint! the 6 of us were really impressed yet again ay the food - it really is fantastic , and the vegetarian Sunday lunch is one of the nicest meals out i have had for a long time. Really pleased, service as always was excellent, staff very friendly and attentive,and although you were very busy you kept us informed that there was a wait for the food - which was absolutely fine by us and it was well worth waiting for, and it gave us the opportunity to have another glass of wine. Thank you once again.

This place is so good we are weekly regulars now! The vegan menu has a great selection and the food is absolutely amazing!! The food on the other menus also looks fantastic and the service is really friendly and professional. A 100% must-try!

From start to finish everything was perfect. The food was amazing, I had the BLT, all was devine, the triple cooked chips were lovely too. Service was prompt and very friendly. Will definitely be returning

Had a meal here on a Wednesday night. Because of covid we haven't been back to the dog inn for a while. We had a lovely time, the food was top class and was served by a very friendly and efficient young lady. The chef was great he even changed some of the ingredients in my wife's dish to her liking ! Can't recommend this restaurant enough!

This really is one of the best meals we have eaten out for quite some time. The vegan Sunday roast is amazing!! All 6 of us who dined, and we all had 3 courses were all delighted with our food. Clearly freshly made with such care, and topped off with exceptional service. This is our second visit, and we will definitely be back. Thank you

Had the Sunday lunch which I've had a few times before including pre lockdown. Always excellent quality and service very good. My very slight picky points are that I preferred the pate the way it used to be served previously in the pot with the sourdough bread. I appreciate it probably cost more but I would pay it. The current toasted bread slices are too small and not as good. Also would like a touch more gravy with the roast. But as I say very minor points taking it down to 9.75 out of 10. Overall it is a fantastic pub/restaurant and would highly recommend.

The food was excellent, the service was swift and the staff were happy! The food itself was tasty and presented well. They have a separate vegan menu which is modest in size (but still with actual choice) and big in flavour! They even have vegan desserts, it is worth giving 5 stars just for that. I had the banana blossom, which I thought was taking a gamble as it’s not normally something none vegan chefs do well. It was however exceptionally well cooked. Will definitely be going back!
