The Dog Inn – BlackburnVery good food exllecent value for money food services first class good clean place to go for food.
The Dog Inn – BlackburnThe food is always good at The Dog Inn. They have great vegan choices and the menu is always varied and tasty. The food is reasonably priced anyway but with the Eat Out to Help Out scheme it's an absolute bargain. One of our favourite places to eat.
The Dog Inn – BlackburnBeautiful value for money food, prepared to perfection, with great choice.
The Dog Inn – BlackburnWent for Sunday lunch. Everything cooked to perfection. Service was great and very reasonably priced - could not fault it.
The Dog Inn – BlackburnWhat a gem of a place, staff friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious, so fresh and bursting with flavour! Will definatly be returning soon X
The Dog Inn – BlackburnMy friend and I decided to try The Dog Inn after reading good reviews and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The staff were very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. The food was amazing we both had cheese and onion pie (both said it was the best we’d ever tasted) followed by ice cream with honeycomb. Will certainly be back!
The Dog Inn – BlackburnBirthday brunch was organised with Mark & Jamie and we requested a special pancake platter. It was amazing! We had a cute little spot and they let us decorate. Great value for money and service. We had a sweet and savoury side and some special details were added such as heart shaped pancakes and the 30th plate. So nice of them to make something special for us. Would definitely recommend for special occasions as brunches.
The Dog Inn – BlackburnCame to the Dog a couple of weeks ago just for something different and it was that good we came back as soon as possible - and it was another absolutely perfect meal this Saturday with the family; sat by the window in the restaurant area with the stunning view across the valley. Two lamb Shepherds Pies, fish and chips and the 8oz steak. All of the food absolutely perfectly cooked, and amazingly the steak was once again fat and gristle free and cut as easily as a slice of cake. Definitely our new go-to restaurant locally and at only £60 for four people not bad at all.
The Dog Inn – BlackburnOh my Goodness! Recommended by one of the girls at work and I cant wait to come back!!!! Food was amazing and very generous Portions! Gutted I had no room left for Pudding! Amazing food... very well priced... gorgeous environment and super friendly staff! Will be back soon! Thanks!

The Dog Inn – BlackburnOnce again outstanding. Was there last week with the family and every meal was thoroughly enjoyed. It’s a got to got to go to place to see for yourself what on offer and find out what you’ve been missing. It’s a complete package and a great local success story. A job being done well done!
The Dog Inn – BlackburnLovely Sunday lunch at the Dog Inn really enjoyed the scallops and pork bellies starter
The Dog Inn – BlackburnExcellent as usual. Many thanks.
The Dog Inn – BlackburnExcellent
The Dog Inn – BlackburnThe food was amazing, very impressive, didn't have to wait long at all and it was quite busy. The atmosphere was lovely, nice and cosy, candles on the table etc (which I love) and the service was brilliant, waitresses were great. I cant wait to go back with my husband! I ordered the cheese pie which was delicious, all home made, 'proper' chips, parsnips (my fave), other veggies and a jug of gravy - perfect! We arrived during happy hour in the pub side which was a bonus, and you can take the drinks through to the restaurant, £9.99 for a bottle of lovely Malbec!Bar staff lovely and friendly too. Will definitely be going back soon. We eat out a lot and rarely get this level of service and exceptional food, Well done guys, keep it up!
The Dog Inn – BlackburnFantastic food, great location. Food took ages to come, but worth the wait. Downsides. Atmosphere ermmmmm say dim the lightning and make the room where we sat cosy IE. Carpet instead of laminate maybe table cloths with centre piece candle. Snug i guess. But we'll be back! Best fish n chips EVER!
The Dog Inn – BlackburnWe went in to The Dog for the special Burns night menu on Saturday evening. As ever, all courses were absolutely delicious. It is a real treat to have a 'gourmet' restaurant on our doorstep.
