Fish was perfect (Hake) its nice to see a "FISH" and chip shop without a kebab in sight. Perfect with passion for Britains Favourite. Keep up the excellent work.

Seniors – Blackpoolthe service was very good and the food is very nice to i thought the price was a bit higher than every other restaurant but in a small quiet area i suppose they would have to put up prices to meet there goals but i would recommend it i thought it was very nice food .
Woo Sang Chinese Takeaway – BlackpoolThe No 3 has gone extremely downhill over the past couple of years. The service is very poor, the staff just simply don't care. No Manager in sight! There is a strong aroma of urine in the pub, they had no wine glasses left to which I was given tumblers to drink my wine, they never have any ice & I can guarantee they never have what you want on the food menu. The toilets are disgusting!
The Crown – BlackpoolFound the fish to be very bland and tasteless, chips perfect. will not be going back big let down after reading other reviews. I had Haddock my wife had Jon Dory. Both tasted the same no taste at all.
Seniors – BlackpoolWe have held customer loyalty cards at the Bombay for many years. When Mr Ali owned it, the food and service was exceptional and I would have said it was one of the best Indian restaurants in Blackpool. However, since Mr Ali's retirement, the place has not only lost several very good staff members but also its former relaxed and friendly atmosphere. If you can put up with poor service, go for the food experience. It's still very good.
Bombay Restaurant – BlackpoolTried San Marcos for the first time this weekend following a recommendation and were really impressed. We will definitely visit again. The food was delicious and the service was attentive, but not 'in your face'. My husband had the lasagna and said it was very good, so the earlier comment about it being 'dire' must have just been a one-off. We had mushrooms and prawn cocktail to start, and I had stroganoff for my main course. Everything was cooked / prepared to a high standard and was really tasty. My only slight criticism was that the sweets were brought in, and I personally like finish an Italian meal with a traditionally made Tiramisu. The one we had was quite nice but just lacked that bit of something. The drinks were reasonably priced. Give this place a try. I doubt you will regret it.!
San Marcos – BlackpoolWould not rush back, it is more like a sort of transport cafe than a restaurant, very disappointing.
The Eating Inn – BlackpoolI've been to the Gurkha Buffet many times now and its always fantastic. The quality of the food is fantastic and the service os very good. I dont believe any buffet style restaurant in the area can come close to the Gurkha Buffet Restaurant. P.S The Gurkha beer is ace. :)
Gurkha Hotel, Restaurant and Bar – Blackpoolwe visited this Indian on a weekend away in Blackpool on the 27 oct 2007 .we ordered our curries and when they come we was all shocked on the size of the balti dishes they were so tiny and not worth the money. as we are all from Birmingham which has great curry houses and you get good quality portions we all refused to pay for them it was not the price it was just the size so people if hungry do not go what a rip off .they need to make there balti dishes a lot bigger
Shalimar Gardens – BlackpoolI've been here before and thought it was great but I went on Saturday evening and they had run out of house fries, coke and Sprite. How can this happen in a restaurant?? And how hard can it be for someone to go and get more supplies in the event of problems with their deliveries, as had happened on this particular day? Also, when our food had been prepared it sat for 5-10 minutes before being brought to our table. Our waiter was held up with something else which is fair enough, but the manager walked by several times and just looked at it. Is it beneath him to help out in busy periods? Oh and then my partner's burger bap disintegrated a few bites in so he had to eat the rest with a knife and fork. Disappointing night and we couldn't be bothered staying for dessert, which is saying something for us!
Frankie and Bennys – BlackpoolGreat food, my husband said he had the best lasagna ever!! The desserts are delicious too. This is the best Italian restaurant in Blackpool
San Marcos – BlackpoolWe have eaten at the Akash twice and found the food and service to be of good quality on both occasions. The staff are very friendly and remembered us on our second visit.
Akash Tandoori – Blackpoolwe have just come back from Blackpool this weekend, we went to Harry Ramsdens for an evening meal, a treat for my 78years old mother, we had to stand for 20mins , till someone cleared some tables, no one asked if my mother would like to sit down. I saw waiters giving out food which they had stacked, one on top of the other up his arm, we waited to give our order, then half an hour later, got our food, it was hot and fairly good , but the plates and cutlery, had not been washed properly there was grease on the bottoms of the plates. The standards there need sorting out, we are everyday working people, and not picky , but i was let down by the way things are run there. Please do something before more people are put off.
Harry Ramsdens – BlackpoolRecommended by our guest house hosts, this little gem served up a very tasty and authentic pizza, and a quite outstanding pasta arrabiata - so much better than the tinned tomato and chilli powder 'sauce' you are offered elsewhere. Friendly service, and excellent deserts - the tiramisu was particularly impressive. We'll be back!
Tiramisu – BlackpoolWe had my daughters 30th party last night and the whole evening was enhanced by the wonderful staff at san Marcos. The food, service and atmosphere was excellent. Thankyou Marcos you made our night. Special thanks to Marchin ( hope we spelt your name right). We will certainly be recommending Marcos to out friends
San Marcos – BlackpoolWarmed up chips,stale bread,warm tea.Very disapointed.
Seniors – BlackpoolMy husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary here and we were not disappointed. From the initial booking to receiving the bill, everything was done with class and excellent customer service. We had the Mandarin Banquet which was exquisite. The prawn toast and ribs were the best we have ever had. The crispy aromatic duck was amazing and the sizzling king prawns - well it pained me to leave a couple but we were just too full to finish them. It was a fantastic night and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone. It's just a pity we don't live in Blackpool or we would eat here all the time.
Michael Wan’s Mandarin – BlackpoolMe and my friends decided to eat at this Italian restaurant we wasn't expecting anything spectacular but it turned out to be such a great place. We had to wait about five minutes for a table in the meantime we all had a glass of wine at the bar. We got seated and ordered our meals, I had the chicken in black bean sauce with mouthwatering roasted vegetables at the side. It was absolutely scrumptious. To die for. My friends also had spaghetti bolognese and the other had calleloni I had a nibble at both of theirs and it was a sensational moment. The warm texture ran through my body, my tastebuds tingling like mad for more. I would most certainly go their again on my next visit to Blackpool, which will be soon due to that restaurant. I have never personally tasted anything quite like it. I would definitely recommend you try it, and I'm most sure you will approve it. We didn't have time for dessert as we were going somewhere else but I certainly think the main course made up for it, and the waiters were kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend it.
