Read the recommendations on the site and decided to give it a try. Had the Mint Chicken - fabulous! It? like a chicken tikka with Raita. Service level is not for anyone in a hurry..... Would go again.

Akash Tandoori – Blackpoolthere was very good service and food was very good :)
Fieldings Fish Bar – BlackpoolWhat an excellent restaurant. The service is excellent, the food tremendous. Starters are all £4.85 Choice of 7 The seared breast of Lytham woodpigeon, leaf salad, and liquorice sauce. Terrific. Carpaccio of Scottish salmon fillet with potato & chive salad very, very tasty. The main courses Again 7 to choose from and what a choice all priced at £12.00 We had the Teriyaki Lamb steaks honey stir fry, ginger & lime sauce just to good for words. The Glazed duck breast, wilted greens, In a sweet port sauce. Again you just have to try it. Also we had The roast suckling pig, Lancashire stuffing, Strawberry pepper sauce. Great. As you can probably tell they are big on sauces but they are great combinations. A truly excellent place to eat good food well prepared and served.
Kwizeen Bistro – BlackpoolWe are frequent visitors to Seniors Restaurant, (March to October) namely because we know we are guaranteed excellent food, service and value. On Saturday 11th June 2005 Senior's Staff excelled themselves that littler bit further. A coach party from The Gateway Club, North Wales had arrived, not once did the staff loose their patience or respect for their guests, the service offered to members of the party and other diners far outweighed 'Customer Service' of the highest calibre. Not only did the staff serve excellent food, they served it speedily, efficiently and more important than that, they served the meal with a smile. Seniors Staff deserved the applaud of all the guests in the Restaurant that evening. They certainly gained a coach party of friends who will only be too happy to recommend Seniors Restaurant to other Gateway Groups. Well done to all the staff and see you all very soon.
Seniors – BlackpoolThis is one of the best Indian restaurants in Blackpool and I do recommend this to everyone who asks about Indian restaurants, as they are absolutely lovely!!! The service was lovely too!! Will be back!!!
Bombay Restaurant – BlackpoolWhat a fantastic discovery this restaurant was. Everything about it was superb. The food is as good, if not better, as many of the restaurants in China Town Manchester and the staff are so friendly. We enjoyed it so much we went two nights running and are already looking forward to our next visit!
Michael Wan’s Mandarin – BlackpoolWhat a pleasure to finally get a nice little neighbourhood Italian on Highfield Road. For years. it's been just pubs, takeaways, chippies and a Chinese. It's a traditional place, the kind with candles in Chianti bottles. Food is good (except for the lasagne which was dire, hopefully a one-off). Plenty of people there too when we went which makes for a lively atmosphere. Brand-new Indian next door as well -- things are looking up in South Shore!!
San Marcos – BlackpoolWe went on a works night out on a Tuesday evening and there were 14 of us. The food was amazing, the vegetarian selection was great and the service was out of this world they could not do enough to accommodate us. I decided on this restaurant through Sugarvine as I'm not a local and it was excellent the best Chinese I've ever had!
Michael Wan’s Mandarin – BlackpoolThis is often a Friday night treat for us. The fish (any fish), the chips and the mushy peas are always done to perfection. The staff, particularly the girls in the restaurant are brilliant at their job, helpful, friendly and efficient. The choice of wine and beer makes this an excellent dining experience for us to start a well deserved weekend. Well done guys, you have got it spot on!
Seniors – BlackpoolI went there with friends, I must say we waited for about 40 mins and it wasn't even that busy. However the food was ok the garlic bread as always and the breaded mushrooms were lovely but the steak was slightly tough, the bill was very good as we had many drinks and for 5 of us to eat and drink for 3 and a half hours it only came to 48 pound. Would recommend if you are looking for cheap and cheerful
Air Balloon, The – BlackpoolThe surroundings were ornate but the friendly ambience made up for the dated decor. Will return for further meals and the wine excellent. Young lassie (in a Scottish term knows a thing or two about wine) delighted in the overall service from start to finish. Local Blackpool people will enjoy the service, but please do not take liberties.
Michael Wan’s Mandarin – BlackpoolFound this place late on a busy good Friday. And what a treat it was, they managed to squeeze us in, My partner and I shared a bruchetta for starters, I'm glad we shared as it was ample enough, but also delicious. My main was a chicken dish, which was absolutely stunning, my partner had stroganoff (which I stole a bit off) and I could also recommend, washed down with a very acceptable bottle of house red. The tapas bar opposite is also excellent with a good variety of music; look no further for a good night in Blackpool.
Very good home cooking, when I come home for the weekend to see the folks.
Dinners Ready – BlackpoolThe best place to go for home a cooked dinner away from home. I always look forward to dinner time when I'm working in Blackpool and I always make this a definite stop. Excellent for winter warmers and summer salads. Not to be missed !
Dinners Ready – BlackpoolAlways get service with a smile and the food is top notch, a first class restaurant
Golden Palace – BlackpoolWhat a great place to eat! There? the great atmosphere, good selection of drinks and the food is absolutely gorgeous. I go weekly and I enjoy it every time.
Mere Park Hotel – BlackpoolThe food was excellent and very cheap. The decor is simplistic which adds to the relaxing atmosphere, and makes it more a place to casually grab something to eat rather than go for a fancy meal.
Wah Wahs – BlackpoolAbsolutely excellent food. Cannot recommend it highly enough but drinks were expensive. 4 Gurkha beers cost around £15 and a friend told me they were charged £3 for a jug of iced water.
