lovely meal with friends at Italio. Great food and service
Italio – BlackpoolAte at Stefani’s for the first time last Thursday. The restaurant is small and only seats around 12 people so would suggest to book if you are looking to eat in. The garlic bread we had as a starter was really good and was the best part of the meal. The pizza I had for main was good, just not on the same level as any of the pizza’s I had just weeks before in Naples, Italy but so much better than any local takeaway pizza in the area. Perhaps that does slightly affect this review as before trying pizza in Italy, this would have scored slightly higher.
Stefani’s Pizzeria – BlackpoolMy boyfriend and I visited Stefani's on Valentine's Day after seeing an offer on Sugarvine's Twitter. The restaurant is in a nice area of Blackpool near the Winter Gardens, so it would be an ideal place to visit before a gig or a show. We loved the decor and you could really see that Nico (the owner/head chef) was passionate and wanted to give the restaurant an authentic feel. We sat at the bar area whilst we waited to be seated. Here we could see all the pizza's being freshly prepared. From the dough to the toppings, everything was fresh! We had the half and half garlic bread for starters to shared, which was really good! Half topped with tomato sauce and the other size mozzarella. Then we both had a pizza, which again was really good. Our only critic would be that their was a bit too much cheese on them but that could just be our personal preference. Because it was Valentine's, the first round of drinks were on the house and so in total for a starter between us, two pizzas and a drink each it was less than £15 each!
Stefani’s Pizzeria – BlackpoolGreat place for breakfast or a spot of lunch with a sunny terrace and country views. Plus its only 10 minutes from Blackpool.
Staining Lodge Golf Course and Glass House – BlackpoolMy partner and myself stayed at the Blackpool FC hotel for 2 nights over this weekend 1st February. We was really disappointed with the breakfast on the first morning. My poached egg was over done, bacon was cold and rubber like, black pudding was hard and undercooked. I did us some toast into the toaster it can out still bread so I put it in again for it to be cremated! That night we’d thought we eat an evening meal at the restaurant thinking surely it won’t be a bad experience again. How wrong was I! It was awful. We both had starter of garlic mushrooms which came out like soup in a soup dish with a dessert spoon. Our main was steak which was basically steak a few fries,3 mushrooms and tomatoes! £22! Disgusting. They wasn’t even busy because we were the only customers and the menu is basic. No excuses really for the poor quality of food. Couldn’t even bring ourselves to enter the next morning for breakfast what we had already paid for.
Rowley’s at Blackpool FC Hotel – BlackpoolWas surprised to find this little gem on Highfield Rd in Blackpool. A cute, quirky and contemporary cafe restaurant. We both enjoyed our meals though we had a bit of a wait for them. All in all I'd recommend
Montagues – BlackpoolSoo glad there is a good vegan restaurant in Blackpool! The design of the restaurant isn't necessarily to my taste but that doesn't matter as the food is great and its a vegan venue!
Faringo’s Vegan – BlackpoolWe all had a great night here for our Xmas party. £ course meal sat in the turret ad then a lesson on Roulette and a free £10 token to play with. Table service for drinks all night. Excellent!
Fahrenheit Bar & Grill – BlackpoolAwesome food with magic views of the Irish sea in the heart of Blackpool. a big party of us dined and all loved their food! T bone steaks amazing value as was the mixed grill.
Excellent meal at Italio for a leaving do for around 8 people. Service was very efficient and the food was gorgeous. The ribs and Stroganoff were top notch. Lovely venue in South Shore Blackpool. We will return.
Italio – BlackpoolWe visited as a family group of 10 adults (4 of whom are Greek)& children Saturday evening & thoroughly enjoyed it. The welcome & service was good & the food excellent...it was a little slower than some places but everything was served hot & freshly cooked Don’t be put off by the outside...it doesn’t do it justice, definitely recommend & will visit again
Go Greek – BlackpoolTing Tongs is a fantastic little place that offers amazing fresh Thai food at a reasonable price. The food arrived quickly, the service was great, and to top it off you are allowed to bring your own drinks. Furthermore, the fact that there is only one lady manning the kitchen makes it even more impressive. Would highly recommend if you are a lover of Thai.
Ting Tongs – BlackpoolWent to this restaurant couple weeks ago, I ordered the lamb shank and started choking on a bone is advise anyone that goes to this restaurant to avoid as wen I was choking the staff didn't do anything apart from rush to take the bone away from my husband rush to take out money, was left very traumatised by the experience and upset by the staff and management for not caring I was left with a cut throat by what happened and I didn't even receive an apology, decently not a place to return to

The Bank Bar and Grill – BlackpoolWe've had Go Greek's takeaway food before and its always been lovely, but tonight was the first time eating in the restaurant. Its the same food, the same quality. We weren't disappointed at all. Its some of the best local food you can find and definitely the best Greek by far. Three courses we couldn't fault, two lagers, a really good bottle of wine, a cute place with a very pleasant host and a Greek chef that really knows how to cook - £40 each. We'll be back to try more of the menu.
Go Greek – BlackpoolGood Atmosphere, very nice décor, helpful friendly and polite staff. Both food and drinks menu have a good selection to choose from. The food was well prepared and presented and very tasty. Good value for money. I would Highly recommend that you pay this venue a visit as you will not be disappointed.
