Michaels Indian Restaurant – BlackpoolWould not recommend this place. Me and my partner don't normally complain quite easily pleased but the service and food here awful.
Italian Star – BlackpoolWe go to this restaurant every time when we like to eat Chinese. The food is very nice, is no MSG and the staff are friendly. fully recommend this place.
Four Seasons – BlackpoolI love this place. The Tikka Masala is beautiful and creamy. The kebabs are the best by far I have ever tasted from anywhere. On a bad note I have had the tom tits after every kebab from here. But to be honest it doesn't put me off. It's worth it ha.
Curry Time – BlackpoolWe paid our first visit to this local eatery last week having heard very good reviews. The service was very good, as expected in a 5 table restaurant, and the food was excellent, freshly prepared ingredients made to order. I would definitely return to this restaurant.
Ambrosinis – BlackpoolThis restaurant has definitely got the wow factor! No expense spared on this.Food excellent.Beware the Biriyani is a meal for 2 unless you have a huge appetite.Staff attentive but a long wait from starter to main. However it was worth waiting for.My only gripe is that the plates for the main course were cold.A very pleasant experience overall.Worth a visit.
Michaels Indian Restaurant – BlackpoolGreat Fish and Chips thanks.
The Cottage at Starr Gate – BlackpoolLovely tapas great cosy atmosphere fantastic food was that nice we have went home and booked another deal for this weekend .
Ziggy’s Cafe Bar – BlackpoolNot been to Mamma’s for ages but we were off to a show at the Grand and thought we’d have a quick bite first. Whilst I was waiting for my wife I noticed on the signage that Mamma’s opened in 1980 – the year before I did my O-levels. That’s staying power! It really is your archetypal Italian with checked tablecloths and straw-covered bottles of Chianti and as the years go by these kind of places are becoming more and more thin on the ground. Just had a pizza, a lasagne, a bottle of Frascati and a couple of coffees but it certainly did the trick.
San Marcos – BlackpoolTop class, same owners for 40 years. Very clean with excellent service, very busy place, get your order in early.
Oriental Chop Suey Bar – BlackpoolWent to Nandos today for a quick bite to eat as we know the service and food are pretty reliable. Unfortunately, it wasn't great today. The place was busy however there where very few staff around. We waited 35 minutes for our food and lets face it Nandos is a one trick pony so it shouldn't take that long! While I was waiting I went to get cutlery and noticed the counter was overflowing with plates ready to go. But we still waited. I must add that only 3 people where actually eating in the restaurant at this time everybody else was waiting. This is unacceptable and puts me off of Nandos in Blackpool. When the orders did finally arrive my son had half a chicken and chips, we thought that 1 leg and a small piece of breast was quite stingy so asked the waitress if this was in fact the right order. She said yes that is half a chicken! and what do we think! I said what do you think?... Sorry Nandos its a thumbs down from me, I might add I only had a salad without meat so it didn't even need cooking!
Nandos – BlackpoolBeautiful decor. Did'nt like younger staff calling me "Luv" it took the ambience away somewhat. Felt chilly, so ladies wear something warm. Food not over hot either and was soon cold with the cool air. However we were very hungry so we rushed and enjoyed. Pashwari naan was huge. We shared and there was still some left but were too full to eat it. A few minor things should be addressed but it has only been open for two weeks and we wish them luck. So much money has been spent on the decor. It will be a shame if a few niggles let it down. All in all.....we will be going again.
Michaels Indian Restaurant – BlackpoolWent to the White Tower for a private function last Saturday evening and came away thinking what a shame it is that this place no longer opens as a normal restaurant. It really does have the potential to be one of Blackpool's top, top venues. It's got the glamorous entrance (by lift), the wonderful views (especially at twilight during the Illuminations), the plush decor, well-trained staff and good food. In fact all the elements are pretty much in place - with the investment of a little time and money - to make this a real destination venue. I could see it being brought up to Michelin-star standard which would be great for Blackpool and great for the Pleasure Beach too.
The White Tower Restaurant – BlackpoolVery good food large portions, plenty if U share bit pricey but would go again fajitas too die for.
West Coast Rock Cafe – BlackpoolGreat food great service looking forward to our next visit.
Michaels Indian Restaurant – BlackpoolLoved Thorntons restaurant - cant wait for the new one on Whitegate Drive - However been trying to book but can't get through.
Michaels Indian Restaurant – BlackpoolThought we would try out the new Indian in town as we love Indian food. The new place looks lovely, love the light change, very romantic, staff friendly. As for the food the worst onion bhajis ever, heavy and doughy, the chicken korma was the worst -- the cream was that thick it would not pour off a spoon. Looked like a thick semolina pudding, no hint of coconut. Wife's favourite but not anymore. All the rest of what we had was ok. Very disappointed as we paid over £40 for two starters, two meals and two drinks.
Michaels Indian Restaurant – BlackpoolWent to the Chu Phoenix last night for my sons birthday we were given a recommendation. The food I could not fault but the service was not what I call special a bit abrupt was my feeling. And who has the bill checked in front of you Won't go again.
