What can i say. I JUST LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE.
Quilligans Cafe Bar – BlackpoolNot been for about 12 months, why i asked myself afterwards. Popped in for lunch and ordered off the lunch time menu and really enjoyed both my starter and main and my hubbys and just love their garlic bread. The food was very tasty and the wine went down well to.
San Marcos – BlackpoolI have eaten several times at Luna Rossa, and all I can say is the food is fantastic and served with the right break between each course. It is true Italian cuisine and freshly made, not frozen like so many other Italian restaurants use in their cuisine. The staff are very friendly and very professional. The restaurant has the right ambience and a lovely decor which is cosmopolitan and very relaxing. I will certainly recommend Luna Rossa to everybody. Guaranteed a fab night with awesome food. Enjoy!!
Luna Rossa – BlackpoolWe have been twice now and taken the elderly clients we work with,we all said they are the best fish and chips we had ever had!!!1,I'm coming next Saturday with the family its my mums birthday and my dad said take us to this Taylor's you keep on about,,,Nikki
Taylors Fish And Chips – Blackpoolit was the best restaurant ever xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Palms Restaurant at the Blackpool Hotel – BlackpoolStopped in here for a quick snack lunch while shopping with my partner. We opted for the Combo platter, which came with chicken goujons, lightly battered prawns, potato wedges and breaded mushrooms plus several dips. The food was all pre-frozen fayre but cheap and cheerful was what we required and the lovely if slightly ditzy waitress was attentive and friendly. My only complaint would be the very wilted salad but as the heat of the day was stifling, I would let this go. Nice outdoor seating and a general buzz made it a satisfying if simple lunch.... great for a mid-shop break
Pepper Mill, The – BlackpoolOur group of 6 had a very enjoyable evening in your lovely restaurant the food was excellent and at a very reasonable cost will defo be coming back on our next visit to Blackpool
La Fontana – BlackpoolThe Ghurka was recommended to me on a trip to Blackpool. It was a fantastic value for money experience. There was a wide choice of foods all of a excellent quality (not stewing away as they are in some buffet restaurants) and the service and friendliness of the staff was second to none. I sampled quite a few of the dishes on offer but was full well before I ran out of choice. A word of warning though. The Ghurka lamb curry, which was labelled as 'very hot', really is very hot. Not to be sampled by Korma lovers like me
Gurkha Hotel, Restaurant and Bar – Blackpoolvisited in September. Very welcoming to families (we have a large double pram) high chair provided. baby change facilities too ! Lovely traditional Italian food. Best carbonara since visit to Rome. Excellent value.
San Marcos – BlackpoolA welcome experience in very different surroundings. really good food. A diamond find. Jane
Empress Grill Room – BlackpoolBe impressed at the Empress Grill Room. Superb surroundings, you could be a million miles from Blackpool, which is where we usually eat!!! Excellent service, Excellent food. Limited menu but hopefully that will change when more people find out about this little gem in one of Blackpool bigger gem's
Empress Grill Room – BlackpoolThe best place to go is Go Greek! It has really set the standards for others to follow in Layton. The service is fantastic and you are made to feel as if you are actually in Greece. I love it my friends love it and I am never stuck when it comes to lunch or celebrating birthdays! Very reasonably priced and as a vegetarian I feel they cater for every one - well done Glenda and Spiros we love you!
Go Greek – BlackpoolWasn't happy with the waiting time for food (40 mins while sat at the table and 15 mins sat in the pub area waiting for the table. Wasn't that busy, even the couple next to us asked how long we had waited) Had food better food from the take away bar in B&Q opposite and that's just a burger bar. Most of the staff was pleasant tho. Lovely looking inside but food, waiting times and the price let things down. Can't see myself going again and shall be tell friends not to bother (which some had already said don't go there after i there after i had told them I've been there)
Plum Tree Farm – BlackpoolWas in Blackpool for the August Bank Holiday. Not one to miss a Sunday Lunch visited JKs Steakhouse on spec and was not disappointed. We had a delicious chicken Sunday roast, dinner with all the trimmings which was excellent value and the carrots were fresh - always a good sign ! The owner & staff made us feel very welcome. We often visit Blackpool so will most certainly be going to have our dinner at JK's again. I liked the Welsh lady ! Yak y dar !
JK’s Steakhouse – BlackpoolGreat Place, Great Food
West Coast Rock Cafe – BlackpoolI recently went to vesuvio, and though you cannot fault the cleanliness and hospitality my pasta dish was terrible. I had pasta with garlic and prawns, it was totally inedible. The owner asked why I didn't like it so I told him the taste was lacking everything! the sauce had no 'punch' so he went on to say about sauces, veggies and meat.. load of nonsense. The 'prawns' could not be found for ages and then when I did find one it was obviously a frozen one, I would have said more like tiny shrimp! And he didn't take the criticism well..although the garlic bread and my companions Lasagne was delightful..I would possibly revisit and try a different dish.
Vesuvio – BlackpoolRare of me to eat fish and chips at lunchtime however I was Hank Marvin. Thought I would grab a takeaway but was pleased to see Taylors now have a restaurant too. Very pleasant space with magazines to read etc. Fish and chips was spot on. Only complaint was a dirty plastic glass for my drink, so I just drank out of the can.
Taylors Fish And Chips – BlackpoolManastey , I have been to the restaurant lot of times and enjoy everything about it, the food and friendly service is exceptional and to those who haven't tried it you're missing out on a great experience as well as great food. It is very cosy and comfortable the interior is nice with authentic Gurkha land stuff.. I recommend trying a small to medium sized plate from the starter part, especially the chicken satay. I tried the mild gurkha curry and the hot one. The spicy potato Aloo Dum thing they do as well is really tasty. All in all this is great value for money, only a tenner so you can't find better value for miles. I highly recommend this place for informal birthdays and a mid week fill. The owner is a gurkha as well so don't mess! The Fine Diner Thanx Bimla for making our dining a fine experience
