AA Rosette For Breda Murphy In Whalley
Take Ireland’s County Carlow, add Lancashire’s Ribble Valley, throw in a 2017 makeover and what do you get? – an AA rosette. Restaurant Breda Murphy and Delicatessen in Whalley has just received notification of the award for its modern British and Irish cuisine. It’s the latest in a string of accolades for Breda and Head Chef Gareth Bevan.
The new-look venue now boasts additional dining space, a luxury private dining area and Reilly’s Gin Bar to complement the existing restaurant and deli. It’s currently open for breakfast Friday to Sunday, lunch Tuesday to Sunday, afternoon tea Thursday to Saturday, dinner Fridays and Saturdays and the deli is open from Tuesday to Saturday.
Popular restaurant dishes include market fish of the day with brown shrimps, Cornish crab salad, roast fillet of Bowland beef and Breda Murphy’s classic fish pie. The delicatessen offers seasonal deli items, reakfasts, cakes and coffees together with takeout meals and sandwiches.
