Britain’s Most Instagrammable Hotel Suites?
The most Instagrammable hotel rooms in Britain have been unveiled at Liverpool’s Shankly Hotel. The nine new suites, available to book now, are part of the new ‘Garden of Eden’ floor at the Signature Living development. The most spectacular room of all – the Garden of Eden Suite – comes with a ceiling decorated with 2,500 flowers designed by botanical artist Joseph Massie. The suite, which offers views over Liverpool, is decked out in Christian Lacroix wallpaper and sleeps six at just £70 per person per night.
The suites come with top of the range luxuries like Jacuzzi tubs, ornate dressing tables and neon signs featuring instagrammable phrases. In the ‘Lust’ suite, designed for two, angel wings near the doorway offer the perfect photo opportunity, while a mirrored ceiling offers couples the chance to check they’re looking their best before nodding off to sleep. The other suites (Sin, Seduction, Nature, Indulgence, Desire, Adam, Eve) also come with a high-level finish that’s perfect for a celebrity-style party.
Beth Begg, the Signature Living interior designer behind the rooms, said: “The Eden floor of the Shankly Hotel is like nothing else in Britain. From flowered ceilings to tasteful neon, they’re the perfect rooms for a big celebration or a romantic night in. We spent huge sums to create luxurious suites that make your jaw drop the moment you open the door." The suites can be booked now by calling The Shankly Hotel on 0151 909 2734, and they sleep between two and eight people.
