Moor Hall, Aughton – Fine Dining Restaurant With Rooms

The wait is over! Moor Hall, a Grade II-listed Jacobean manor house at Aughton, in West Lancashire, has finally opened its doors to the public after a mammoth renovation project. The luxury seven-bedroom ‘restaurant with rooms’ will showcase the talents of chef-patron Mark Birchall. The former Roux Scholarship winner was Executive Chef at two-Michelin-star L’Enclume in Cartmel and also worked at the three-Michelin-star El Cellar de Can Roca, twice voted the world’s best restaurant. The minimally styled 50-cover restaurant will be joined later in the year by a more informal brasserie in the property’s converted barn.
