This month the family owned, independent restaurant in Boughton Monchelsea celebrated its 10 year anniversary with a garden party for loyal customers. The Smooth Jazz Quartet provided music, whilst over 170 guests enjoyed some of the exquisite food that the restaurant has become synonymous with.
The restaurant started at the beginning of the worst recession in recent times, yet has weathered all the storms to become one of the finest eateries in Kent. They have retained their 2 AA Rosettes and Michelin accreditation throughout the entire ten years. According to Karen Williams, Proprietor of the Mulberry Tree, “it has been a tough journey at times, but we’re still here and have gained a reputation as a destination eatery which I am unbelievably proud of”
