A New Look For The Grapes In Bamford
The Grapes is a well-kept, traditional pub based in the pleasant suburbs of Rochdale. Stockport-based brewers Robinsons Brewery acquired the pub back in 1992 and since then it has remained a welcoming local for the community of Bamford to enjoy. A recent renovation has restructured the flow of the pub, adding a brand-new bar, new fixtures and fittings and a complete redecoration from top to bottom.
Tony Massey, Business Development Manager for Robinsons Brewery, saiys “The inspiration for this refurbishment was to revive a community pub, engage more of the local residents, and install some local pride. We wanted to create a real transformation here. We added natural timber flooring and feature stone tiles to create a modern yet contemporary feel, and the area now offers a more spacious environment for all to appreciate. We knew that this pub had potential and we hope that the new look will engage more locals; it really is a stunning pub with lots to offer.”
The Grapes now provides four cask ales, a wide range of lagers and craft ales, and offers a superb variety of wines both by the glass and bottle, all complemented by a great spirit selection including 10 gins. The pub boasts a premium range, alongside some old gems, so there’s something for everyone. The Grapes also serves fresh homemade food. Nicola Hutchinson, Manager at The Grapes, says: “The refurb has truly exceeded our expectations. We are delighted with the trade, and the locals of Bamford are all extremely pleased."
