New Restaurant TV Series For Alex Polizzi

Best known as the feisty but glamorous Hotel Inspector in the Channel 5 series of the same name, Alex Polizzi is turning her attention to restaurants in a new series which starts production in September. Struggling restaurant businesses are being asked to participate with Alex and her team of industry experts looking at everything from staffing to menus in a bid to turn the businesses around.

Alex is the granddaughter of renowned hotelier Lord Forte and has 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. Whilst best known for her work in and with hotels, this isn’t her first TV outing with restaurants – her BBC2 programme Chefs On Trial helped restaurants find the ideal chef, notably for Gilpin Hotel and Lake House in Cumbria (read our Q&A).
