Rake’s is a new day-to-night eating and drinking destination designed as an ‘escape from the city’ that has opened next to Liverpool Street Station. Taking inspiration from the world-famous series of eight paintings by William Hogarth, 'The Rake's Progress', the striking café bar features a lounge area, private dining room and a pergola-adorned main restaurant.
Notable design features include the clash of distinctive colours in the rooms, pale green with modern day 'Hogarth Inspired' graffiti walls in the Front Room and dramatic pink plaster above the original Victorian marble in The Parlour. Open seven days a week, Rake's offers simple and creative food alongside a specially crafted cocktail menu of modern and classic concoctions.
The Rake’s menu ranges from power breakfasts and weekend brunch to social snacks. Takeaway breakfast is available alongside freshly brewed coffee and brunch favourites from the menu include dishes like Rake’s Benedict and the Walnut Waffle. If you’re visiting later in the day expect sharing plates like Corn Fed Chicken and Chorizo Croquettes or main such as Tagliatelle with Devon Crab, Prawn and Chilli Oil. Rake’s is open from 7.30am to 1am Monday to Friday, 10am to 1am Saturday and 10am to 6pm Sunday.
