The Courthouse – BoltonWe are so lucky to have a lovely Italian restaurant just round the corner the food is great and the staff treat you like family
La Roma Restaurant – BoltonBoltons finest!
Curley’s – HorwichOrdered our food over 2 hours ago. Got told it would be another 15 mins, 30 mins later I got told they have just left. The man on the other end of the phone couldn’t care less. “Well what do you want me to do about it?!” I will not recommend this place at all. Can’t comment on the food as we are still waiting...
Nam Ploy – BoltonFantastic
Tavern Fayre – BoltonTavern Fayre is a rightly very popular venue. Even though its a large place with plenty of covers it always seems busy. That's because it is a well run ship with a good menu. I had the light bite fish and chips which was excellent. service was friendly and efficient. Its in a good location for me near the motorway.
Tavern Fayre – Boltonquality veggie pizza for my lunch. lovely little family run restaurant.
Casalingo – BoltonWe planned to go the bank restaurant in the vault Bolton my our friends. I called to see if we could make a reservation but was advised that they were not taking books and just to walk in and they will sit you down. I asked what is the possibility if we turned up at 7/7.30pm and I was rd there wouldn't be a problem. Well we turned up and the front of house was car rude and told us to come back in an hour if we can't find anywhere to eat. He has 45 parties in front of us and no you never called because we don't have a phone. So I showed hi. The number on my phone and he said you called bury road restaurant so you should leave as they will be waiting for you. We felt so disheartened that we just walked away as all the other guest were staring at us because the waiter was so rude and loud. I would never go again. There are other restaurants in Bolton who are polite and helpful. The moral of the story is never ever go to the bank unless you have booked or have 1 or 2 hours spare and also beware the waiter is rude and likes to humiliate you.

Paul’s Chippy – BoltonWent for tea last night nice staff especially guy taking orders, food was lovely well cooked and presented. Myself and partner eat out in a lot of places and I have to say this was on the best meals we have had recently 10 out of 10 to chief :) Will definitely be going back
The Horseshoe at Ringley – BoltonJust had a family meal at the Horseshoe to wish my son farewell before he goes to university in Spain . Absolutely brilliant food , great service, massive portions ...really friendly service , we will all be definitely going back again very soon. I would really recommend this place to family and friends as a lovely place to get a nice meal with a great atmosphere and good quality food and great value for money.
The Horseshoe at Ringley – BoltonWe recently had a Family Birthday meal for Mums 85th Birthday at La Roma. There were 40 of us including children. The food was excellent with good sized portions. We were made to feel very welcome by the staff and everyone had a lovely time especially Mum. After the meal we were able to mill around in the outside area and were not rushed out at all. I would definitely reccomend this venue.
La Roma Restaurant – BoltonVisited for Sunday Lunch on 31st May with my wife and in laws and enjoyed a delicious carvery lunch in the Last Drop Inn. i've visited before and the pub wasn't open so it's great to see it now open with a pool table, fruit machine & jukebox..Will be visiting again soon
Last Drop Village Hotel and Spa – Boltonit's a great tasting chippy one of the best I've ever had in Bolton. It's up with all the great restaurants, for example Olympus chippy.
Paul’s Chippy – BoltonWe have visited this wonderful new cafe/bar/grill on several occasions now. Each time being given a warm and friendly welcome and even making sure that on our last visit my husband had gluten free wraps with his sizzling steak platter. The food, drink and service has been excellent and without hesitation would recommend this establishment to everyone. We will return!
Augusto – BoltonI don't no where to start to be honest...I Had my bday in Dhanak Deira and omg it was amazing I don't no what to type because the atmosphere was just brilliant and the service was reallly nice and caring. Where do I start with the food. The Chana Chaat was just mouth watering. I have never had such an amazing starter ever and the grilled chicken was just lovely and the fish pokora was jus delicious and my favourite the sheesh kebab was jus amazing. it was really nice to see my whole family and friends were enjoying the food and the atmosphere it was really nice to have my bday there I would recommend all of you to go to Dhanak Deira and have a really nice time there because it's worth it. I have never had such a brilliant bday ever I loved it there and how can I forget the dessert was just amazing. Ice cream over my favourite and the price outside the restaurant £6.99 was worth it because the buffet was jus amazing the variety of the food was really thoughtful. All of those dishes My favourite I jus can't wait to go back there because I feel like I'm at home. it's like a home sweet home really comfortable no complaints no demands. I really can't wait to go back and please hater stop hating.
Dhanak Deira – BoltonWe visited Dhanak Deira today at 18:15. Restaurant was quite to start with as one table of 3 was engaged when we got there. Soon it started filling up. Starters were good n wholesome. Speciality dishes like Nihari n Haleem were made authentically but were just warm. Informed the waiting person to turn on the burners, which he did. Lamb n Chicken Karahi dishes are actually dry masala dishes (not with runny gravy/curry). Biryani was cooked well but just warm. The dessert section lets the restaurant down as cakes selection was good but dry (frozen cakes which normally do end up dry once defrosted n left for a long time). Gulab Jamans ordered were very chalky in taste n were asked to be warmed up in microwave as not in a gravy boat with burner underneath. Tables were quickly tidied upby waiting person (European girl) but crumbs on the carpet were not taken care off which showed neglect n carelessness. This can be easily corrected by investing in an electric sweeper which is quiet n discreet way of housekeeping. Other thing that the restaurant can invest in is microfibre cloth to clean their glass tables as this would put the sheen back into the glass as it cleans n polishes the surface at the same time. Additionally this cloth is machine washable at 60 degrees (available at Asda 4 for £1).. Overall, restaurant felt cold as there is no central heating (we are assuming here) as electric heaters were available on request. Dessert section to be reviewed n revised along with house keeping issues to move the restaurant to next level..
