The Strawbury Duck – Boltonmy wife and I celebrated our golden wedding anniversary at san marino, it was a fantastic success par excellence food and very polite service
San Marino – Boltonjust had a starter here and it was out of this world! My tastebuds were having a great time!
La Roma Restaurant – BoltonI don't want to spend too much time in this review as I've just wasted time and money in this awful establishment. The bar staff are very rude. I paid upfront,£8.35 for the worst curry ive ever had. Gloopy salty sauce and chicken thigh meat. For that price I expected breast. The owner is rude, unfriendly and inflexible. A group of four hungry punters arrived at 2.02pm to be told "we stop serving at two the chef has started cleaning down." I can't believe they stayed to order a drink. I will NEVER enter this place again.
The Horseshoe at Ringley – BoltonBaci's was excellent food but on a busy nite you will be waiting ..... but worth the wait definitely....
Baci Restaurant – Boltonwent Saturday 4pm all u can eat for 10.95 food was really good, was just a last minute thought not been for quite a while, i don't think we will leave it that long until next time also the staff was very attentive and pleasant thanks again.
La Salsa – BoltonWhy would I go to any other Italian restaurant when I have this wonderful place on my doorstep? Amazing food. Excellent service. Great value.
La Roma Restaurant – BoltonDisappointing! No warm welcome, no waitress/waiters-pricey food.....didn't stay to eat....tables dirty...felt a bit scruffy...gutted
The Strawbury Duck – BoltonJust love this place great food and wine and great value. Everyone is made welcome and the very friendly staff cannot do enough for you. No one is ever hurried, and we frequently crash out in the bar area after our meal. Back next saturday bring it on.
La Roma Restaurant – BoltonLovely pub, lovely friendly staff, great views, great food-good value for money!
Black Bull – BoltonOn our first visit, we saw on the wall at the entrance that we were to find a table, note the order number and place the order at the bar. So, we went in and started looking for a table. There were quite a few to choose from. A nearby waitress asked 'can I help you' with a clear attitude. We said we were just looking for a table, in which she responded that we had to 'sign in at reception'. So, off we trotted to 'reception', thinking she would follow and serve us. She didn't follow, and we were left standing there waiting for someone to come over. Whilst we were there, we noticed a small chalkboard, with faded chalk writing on , saying please wait here to be seated. A scruffy young man strolled over to us, and asked if 'we were alright'. I asked for a table for 2 and he said we would have to wait 15 minutes. Unsure as to why this was, as I had just walked round the pub to see numerous spare tables, I asked if all the tables were reserved. The young man, shrugged his shoulders, and said 'ummm some of them', so I asked why we couldn't sit at a table which wasn't reserved. Again he said '15 minute wait'. There were no reserved signs on any of the empty tables I had seen. I then asked what the correct procedure to get a table is, as the information supplied by the door is completely different to the faded chalked instruction on the small chalkboard on this 'reception desk'. He just looked at me, not knowing how to respond, presumably because he doesn't know himself. How can a quiet pub justify a 15 minute wait for a table on a Monday evening, with approx half of the tables vacant? What is the point in having 2 conflicting instructions on how to be seated & get served? How can the staff not know the correct procedure in which customers should follow in order to be seated and served. How can a pub/restaurant have such unmotivated and attitude-y staff and expect to attract new customers and keep them loyal? As you may have guessed, we didn't stay to find out what the food was like. I would avoid this place at all costs. It may look aesthetically pleasing, both internally and externally, but the staff were enough to put me off.
Tavern Fayre – BoltonThe service is excellent ,the staff are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is brilliant for adults and children all are made welcome.Thank you
Harvey’s Cafe Bar – BoltonEasy to find, parking plentiful, convivial bar seating, only a short time to wait for dining, able to add drinks in the bar to a common bill, pleasant service, very very hot food, cooked fine, salad varied and interesting, really very pleased indeed, the closing question - would we go back - YES, plenty of choice for another meal.

Nam Ploy – BoltonDined at La Roma on Mothering Sunday, Pre booked table. Dined with 3 Adults and 3 Children. Service was friendly at all! Mains weren't cooked properly, Pasta was cold and salami still cold. The staff were very quick to get us out of the restaurant even though it was really quiet, my Wife hadn't even put her knife and fork down before her plate was taken away from her! Really disappointed, would never consider going back!
