Anams Restaurant – BradfordI have always had a passion for Authentic Asian food. Indeed I may make it my goal to eat my way through every Indian restaurant in town. A recent celebration served as a good excuse to hit the town in an edible manner. After reading about the sweet centre we decided to give it a try. The menu was Great. Not extensive but sufficient... Lots of choice and lots of dishes I hadn't heard of before. We each tried a new dish of medium spiciness and both were good size portions and tasted very good. Typically I preferred my fellow diners choice - why does that always happen?, i dont know. The Tarka Daal and the Lamb of the bone/Tikka Masala Is an experience of its own!!! Simply one of the finest Indian restaurants I have ever visited. The food is in my opinion sublime, the cost exceedingly cheap. If i was to pick out the bad points it would be that the mango lassi was too filling! which meant could not manage to eat much. The waiters were very friendly and attentive and we weren't kept waiting for any part of our meal. I would definitely visit again. A Must for authentic curry enthusiasts.
Sweet Centre Restaurant – BradfordThe food and service was excellent would definitely recommend it
Kiplings Restaurant – BradfordAs a visitor to Bradford just on a theatre trip we wandered the town and found this backstreet restaurant. They had a £4.95 any pizza/pasta offer before 7pm so we gave it a go. Service was good, friendly and prompt but the positives ended there. The décor is how we seemed to think Italian restaurants should look in the 70’s. Fake stucco, roof tiles, vines etc. In fact it probably is the same décor this place had in the 70’s. The rear bar smells of damp and is covered with the red velour padded seating you find in Aberdeen Steakhouses. The menu had a good choice and we opted for a Tricolore Salad and a ‘Potato boat’ for starters. The Tricolore was a rather small portion of grey looking mozzarella and the hardest of inedible Avocado. The ‘Potato Boat’ was a slab of half an undercooked jacket potato covered in chopped salami and cheese. This reminded me of something a Mum would cook with their 4 year old to introduce them to fun cooking. We had pizzas for main. One with Salami (again) and Chillies and one with Green Peppers and Chillies. The bases looked like the chef had battered them into half moon shapes and when placed on round plates looked, well…silly. The topping was scarce and bland. Thank god they were £4.95 and not the £8.95 full price pizza available after 7pm We didn’t risk the rather unadventurous list of deserts. Maybe this is good for a Central Bradford Restaurant but it’s about the worst Italian meal I’ve had since…well 1970. If this is ‘New’ Giuseppe’s I would have hated to visit the old one. We did think at first that given this is down a side street it must be good to survive….how wrong we were.
New Giuseppes Restaurant – Bradfordwell this is my favorite restaurant and everyone i bring her says its the best they've had we all come here at least four times a month and my dad who's 76 and never had an Indian just loves its well worth the try and i haven't found anywhere that beats .
Akbars Balti Restaurant – Bradfordit was my first time at sampling Indian food, l was very impressed, l tend to eat with my eyes and not with my stomach, l certainly wont be doing this again. And next time l am in Bradford i will definitely be going back to the sunrise!
Mashriq – Bradfordi had an excellent time at the restaurant, the staff were excellent and loved the food. definitely recommend to anyone.
Sanam Restaurant – BradfordI've been a curry fan for the last 20 years! In my humble opinion The Sweet Centre is the ultimate in taste and authenticity, quite honestly nothing comes close. So many Asian restaurants purport to offer 'the real deal', but The Sweet Centre actually does. Don't waste any more time trying to find the best Asian cuisine, visit The Sweet Centre. The staff are fantastic and will bring cutlery and open wine bottles if required, nothing is too much trouble. My favourite dishes are the fish curries and the tarka dahl is to die for, a wonderful, amazing tasting dish and should not be missed. It's no mess, no fuss, just an epicurean delight!
Sweet Centre Restaurant – BradfordOkay... Now I've eaten curry at a good few places in my time, but my experience at Sweet Centre tops the lot! The food was awesome (chicken masala with chick peas) and the staff were immeasurably helpful. I would recommend this place as being head and shoulders above the rest in Bradford, if an authentic curry is what you're after.
Sweet Centre Restaurant – Bradfordif flavour was football then this place is the world cup final!! anyone who can must try this place.
Zouk Tea Bar – BradfordI took my boyfriend here for lunch. We were both extremely hungry and hoping that the place would live up to the expectations created from the glowing reviews previously posted. We opted for the chefs special that was specified in the menu. I tried a Balti Fish and my boyfriend selected The Balti Lamb (off the bone), accompanied with a side dish of lentils and spinach. It was simply 'different' to what we normally have. The pillau rice and naans were extremely tasty and went well with the meal. The ambience and staff were extremely polite and helpful. The food is very tasty and feels healthy as you eat it. We ordered orange juice and a glass of mango lassi which i strongly recommend to all. Ps" Nice Fish Tank" and a must try place for all those seeking authentic food.
Sweet Centre Restaurant – BradfordOn every occasion we have been here the food has been spectacular. You can tell from the first mouthful that every ingredient is fresh and of excellent quality. The selection of curry is vast so there is always something different to try. Not only do they offer all the mainstream curries, but some less known, but no less tasty, varieties. What particularly sets this curry house above the rest is the freshness and succulence of the meat. The tikka meat is always properly marinated and a delight to eat. It doesn’t stand out from the outside but once you have eaten here, you wont forget it. A true gem in the abundant Bradford curry houses.
Taste Of Bengal – BradfordThis place was fab!!! raf and the team are excellent ! Definitely worth giving it a try
Kiplings Restaurant – BradfordWe dined here last night before going to the IMAX. I was quite surprised at this restaurant tucked away down a side street. We were shown through the dining area into the bar which was quite surprising and very pleasant. The waitresses looked after us very well and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. The Manageress even went out into the rain to find two of our party who didn't know Bradford Centre - what better service could you get anywhere.
New Giuseppes Restaurant – BradfordWe had a buffet meal. The food was decent, especially considering the price, £6.00 per head. Waiter agreed to cook us fresh tandoori roti rather than the damp naans available. We were disappointed with the layout of the place. It was pretty flat.
Mashriq – BradfordI have eaten here many times over the years and have never been disappointed with a meal. The steak pie is very good, but then so is everything else. Lovely pub food with a good atmosphere. Plenty of tables outside for when the sun shines. Well worth a visit - you wont be disappointed.
Greyhound Inn – BradfordI can highly recommend Kongs. My wife and I are regulars and we never leave disappointed. The food is always excellent as is the variety of dishes offered, particularly for the low prices charged. A little gem!
BC’s – BradfordBlue sky is great the food is always lovely. i often come on Sunday the buffet is really good value from money eat as much as you want the menu has such a great wide range of choice i would definitely recommend you try this restaurant!
