Prashad – BradfordMy family and I have been regulars at the sweet centre for many years. In my opinion its the best place for a great Indian meal. Recently we had a group of us use the function room ( at no extra cost) for a family birthday meal which just added a lovely intimate bonus to the evening. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the waiters. Ten out of ten!!!
Sweet Centre Restaurant – BradfordAfter booking the reservation well in advance, I must say the wait was worth it. My husband and I followed the best restaurant series and we were definitely team prashad! Being huge carnivores, we were unsure of the menu. But with so many flavours rolling around in your mouth, we didn't notice the absence of meat one bit. Aunty came out from the kitchen several times. I would recommend this restaurant to any one. Some of the best food I have ever tasted and we will certainly be regulars.
Prashad – BradfordWe had a lovely time. Friendly atmosphere. Lamb dishes were excellent!
Kebabeesh – BradfordI've been twice to this restaurant and it is fast becoming a favourite. The food is excellent and the service prompt and polite. They also run a cooking school from their Manchester restaurant which my husband will be trying out soon. Highly recommended.
Zouk Tea Bar – BradfordI travel to Leeds monthly for work and thought I'd take the opportunity to visit Prashad for lunch whilst I was there after seeing them take second place in Gordon Ramsay's Best Restaurant. I was particularly excited as I'm a vegetarian and although a curry lover, am bored of what Brighton (my hometown) has to offer. I was not disappointed as I have never eaten Indian food like it. My partner is a carnivore but he was as intrigued as me. The food is totally different from any other I have tasted before - exciting, interesting and seriously tasty, and I left feeling comfortably full rather than bloated. The service was excellent - the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. It was well worth the trip!
Prashad – BradfordMy husband and i came all the way up from London to eat at Prashad, we were so inspired watching them on the tv and supported them through the whole programme, we thought they should've been the winners, especially now after eating there and meeting Kaushy and her son, wow wow wow, an absolutely amazing evening, Kaushy gave me a recipe and sat with us and made us feel at home, her son was very accommodating and managed to fit us in (even though they were fully booked) i would 100% recommend Prashad and we will definitely drive the 200 miles to go and eat there again, a truly fantastic evening. I just wish they lived nearer to us, we would be there all the time. Definite winners.
Prashad – BradfordI was taken back by the quality of food at this place! I have just booked for NYE they have a set menu and live entertainment, and by the looks of their booking diary for NYE i was just in time!
Kebabeesh – BradfordIt was the best Indian restaurant that we have ever been to. We were made to feel very welcome. All our dishes were explained to us..very helpful. It was my sons birthday and they made it very special for him. Highly recommended and excellent value too.
Prashad – BradfordStunning food, quite frankly some of the finest we have ever had. A lot of the flavours were new to us and the mixed starter just showcased the amazing skills at work in the kitchen. We came in December for a birthday meal and it really was a special meal. After seeing the restaurant on TV it felt like we already knew them and this feeling was only heightened when kaushy came front of house to chat with everyone - what a lovely talented lady. If you are in any doubt about missing the meat in your meal then don't be. Just go! Not the usual fatty taste you are left with after a normal curry this food is so fresh and tasty just give it a go we certainly will be going back in the new year.
Prashad – BradfordWe took a group of primarily elderly people from Abundant Life Church, Bradford, to Websters Idle today 16 December 2010. The service was excellent and the small portions large!! Great staff, good food, reasonable price. We'll go again.
Websters – BradfordRecently visited the stansfield arms, Ate there for the first time with a group of friends.A fantastic experience the food was tasty, service excellent could not fault in any way.Would definitely recommend this pub its worth it!.
Stansfield Arms – BradfordBefore visiting Prashad I was dubious as to whether I could fully enjoy a meal without any meat in it at all but I couldn't have been more wrong! The food they serve is just spectacular and tastes so good you would never miss the meat. This was our second time eating at Prashad's restaurant (we have also driven a 70 mile round trip for a take away because the food is that good!) and this time we took a few friends with us which I'd say is probably best because you can sample a lot more of the menu that way! The pethis, pani puri and pea kachori starters were definitely a favourite and the pea and aubergine curry is amazing! The staff were really understanding when we were over an hour late due to the weather and traffic and rebooked our table for us for a later time. The table service was brilliant and the waiters more than happy to help. At the end of the meal Kaushy came out to talk to us all which was such a nice touch as it makes the experience even more personal. I will definitely be returning to Prashad as soon as I can and I will continue to recommend it to everyone.
Prashad – BradfordEver since their well-deserved success in the televised culinary contest hosted by Gordon Ramsey, it has been increasingly difficult to obtain a table at Prashad unless we think of booking well in advance. So we have not had a chance to dine there for some weeks. On Saturday we decided to chance it and to our immense relief, Imran, the young, new Manager was able to find us a table for two in the new, tastefully-decorated extension. The restaurant was buzzing, very busy, full of diners. We opted for some of our favourites: bhel supreme, masla dosa, chickpea cholé and puris. Prashad now offers vegan ice cream! So we tried that too. The meal was a pure delight. The service was exceptionally good. Imran and his team are on the ball, doing a great job. Prashad is up there with the big league, giving them a run for their money.
Prashad – BradfordMy family and I went to Prashad's for my daughter's 8th birthday as she loves Indian food. When we first arrived, we were greeted with the most warmest of welcomes. The menu looked so inviting and we were spoilt for choice. To be honest, I didn't miss not having any meat on my plate at all, as the food is absolutely amazing with so many spices and tastes. It was simply divine from start to finish. The service was exceptionally good with smiling and friendly faces from everyone. They even made a birthday cake with candles for my daughter where the chef's and waiting staff all came out to sing to her, which made her feel so special. We will definitely be returning to Prashad's on a regular basis as it's simply the best Indian restaurant we have been to. I would recommend it to anyone, even families. If the children don't like spicy food, they have chips on the menu which are also beautiful and fluffy. A fantastic, relaxing evening out for everybody.
Prashad – BradfordI have a huge spice selection and have been cooking Indian food for many years. The meal I had at Prashad blew me away in terms of flavour, service and ambience. It's food cooked by people who understand exactly how to use spices, and do so with amazing effect. The only warning I will give you is make sure to take plenty of people with you, as its great to share 3-4 starters (Pethis, baby puris, kachoris etc) and several curries with breads..I love the pea and aubergine, not to mention the Chole with the masala dosa being a real treat. It was a great end to the meal when Kaushy came to greet us and have a chat, she really makes you feel welcome and I just wanted to give her a massive hug. I will return over and over again without fail.
Prashad – BradfordUnbelievably nice food. I am a dedicated carnivore and I am very fussy when it comes to eating vegetables but not when they're cooked like this! I hoovered up a good portion of the 7 starters we had, the Pethis being a firm favourite, and I enjoyed every single one. We then had the Chole, Pea and Aubergine and Tarka Dahl as well as the Monster Massalla Dosa which really lives up to its name. Staff were friendly and efficient and very understanding of our being late due to the weather. I never thought | would enjoy vegetarian food so much, a completely eye opening experience.
Prashad – BradfordGreat value for money, great family restaurant and best of all AMAZING food! The naans are gorgeous ! try the Potato and Coriander naan! Definitely booking for Christmas
