Very Good, not as good a decorations as the other Indians but a better atmosphere and service and food than any other restaurant by far.

Bengal Raj – Weston Super MareThe best INDIAN Restaurant in Weston-Super-Mare (I think). If you want Indian this is the restaurant you should be at. Doesn? look like a lot from the outside but you?l be surprised at the service and fab food you find inside.
Bengal Raj – Weston Super MareLast night was my second visit to loch fyne, I can? wait until my next one. Albeit a Monday and the restaurant was quiet, the service was excellent, prompt and courteous. The specials board was wonderfully varied. The wine list was good and reasonably priced. The oysters sublime, the haddock delicate and Moorish and the sorbet perfectly freshened the palate at the end of the meal. The bar underneath a bit trendy but that? not a bad thing in this case. Recommended for any occasion.
Loch Fyne Restaurant – Bristol City CentreHaving visited Thailand, this was the nearest we have found to a 'local' experience. The surroundings are lovely, being in a semi-circular room adds to a cosy and friendly ambience. The service is as friendly as you would expect in Thailand (the land of smiles) and very helpful for those who are not so sure what they would like to eat. We would highly recommend a visit here (and they sell sticky rice!!!!), However, expect to book because it is very popular. Enjoy your experience!
Thai Balcony – BathWent for a Saturday Lunch as our original choice was fully booked up. Excellent Service, and Food would definitely go there again
Bowlish House – Shepton MalletA pleasant change from the usual run of the mill eateries
Bottelinos – Staple HillA safe bet when you need a good place to take the other half.
Zizzi – CliftonI've had 2 awful meals at this place. The food was very good - when it arrived. However, the service on both occasions was very poor. We were offered our bill after the starters (they had forgotten our mains). On another occasion, it took 45 minutes for our starters to arrive and a further 45 mins for mains for only half of the party. The staff didn't really seem to comprehend what the problem was. Good to see that things are improving - hope it lasts.
Plantation – Bristol City CentreThe restaurant has a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere; even on a Saturday night they didn't make a fuss if you had no booking. They have the seating well laid out so you don't feel like you are sitting on top of any surrounding tables. The staff are all very friendly and make you feel welcome without being next to you all the time. The food was excellent and fairly priced, and even in busy periods you never seem to be waiting too long for it.
Jade Palace – KingswoodSmall place very popular, fantastic food at very reasonable price. Those who appreciate genuine Indian food, it's worth a visit. Try the Tamarind Chicken or the Lal Maas, which you are not likely to find anywhere else. I was informed it's Ahmed's own creation. Word of advice worth booking in advance.
Ahmed’s Curry Cafe – Bristol City CentreGreat café, my favourite place to go in Bath. Worth going in just to view the staff!
Adventure Cafe – BathThe chef cares about his work. Ingredients excellent, cooking and presentation too.
Java – Bristol City CentreI?e been to many Indian restaurants and have never been satisfied with either the food or the depressing waiters or the sita music twanging in the background, not only that but most Indian restaurants are so outdated with there awful decor in Bristol! I have found the most amazing, wackiest, modern restaurant in uk! Oh! Calcutta! Has lived up to its name. Not only does it have a wonderful selection of fish (red snapper and monk fish) the ingredients and preparation are so fresh that it wafts through your nostrils and sends you to food heaven! The waiters and waitresses are all from different parts of Europe, which makes it uniquely different to other Indian restaurants. The food is exceptionally tasty due to the freshness of their cooking. The standard is very high for the money and this makes it a winner for my local Indian restaurant. If you get bored of sitting in the restaurant you can always watch the screen on the wall, which plays arty video clips and world music. Oh! Calcutta! Is the way to go forward, its about time Bristol had a trendy Indian restaurant!
Oh Calcutta – Bristol City CentreWhen you walk through the door you know you're in a little corner of Cyprus. The staff are extremely warm and helpful and the food is exquisite. Price can mount up, but you will always have an evening to remember. Well done Dimitris.
Demetris Taverna – Weston Super MareExcellent little bar. Very welcoming and knowledgeable owner (Adrian and Ester Cox). Excellent freshly prepared food. A definite must visit for a true feel of the area while in Clifton Village.
Brunel Wine Bar The – CliftonI recently went to Oh Calcutta on my birthday with 10 friends and had one of the best meals ever. The restaurant is like no other Indian restaurant I had been too , looking modern and trendy. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and best of all the food was fantastic. Well done Oh Calcutta, I will be returning very soon.
Oh Calcutta – Bristol City CentreWent with my boyfriend for Valentines Day, then for my birthday a couple of weeks later. Well worth the experience and money, as food was some of the best Chinese ever! Very authentic, just like when we travelled to Hong Kong! And the staff are ever so friendly. This will definitely become a regular of ours!
Dynasty – Bristol City CentreYou just can't beat Demuths for vegetarian food in the south west if not the UK - it's loved by non-vegetarians just as much. It's by far the best vegetarian restaurant I've been to. They have lots of vegan and gluten free options too. Make sure you book if you're going for the evening on a weekend!
