Golden House The – StreetI live close to this pub and visit it on numerous occasions for meals. The food is of outstanding quality, always hot and always home made. The staff are very pleasant and polite at all times. The pub and the restaurant have a wonderful atmosphere and you always feel at home. I would recommend this pub/restaurant very highly.
The Moorend Spout – NailseaThe best curry in Keynsham, you can't go wrong. Excellent food and impeccable service. We've eaten out here several times and have never had any problems, best to book for the weekend nights. Take away is available too, although would advise phoning first so you're not hanging around, although you could always get a cheeky drink in whilst waiting!
Cinnamon – KeynshamExcellent food, really good night out - all home cooked. Also Sunday lunch delicious, one of the best in Bristol. Best food in a pub in the area.
Rose Of Denmark – CliftonFantastic, does not need any more wording just bloody fantastic
Old Harbour House Restaurant The – MineheadMy wife and I discovered the Apple Tree in 1986 on holiday from the States, and returned in 1987 and 1996! We enjoyed the atmosphere and the good value. We are visiting this year and it's on our itinerary!
The Apple Tree Inn – Glastonburythis is the best place ive been to for a carvery for years top marks and they make you feel welcome
Brent House – Weston Super MareAn excellent restaurant it was recommended by Chris duh but it was true everything he said the food was delicious and the service was excellent and it is the best out of every restaurant I have ever been to clearly and that is allot of restaurants I don't have a cooker. SCORE!!!!!!!!!!
Sugar Cane Restaurant – YeovilIt is a super duper place. I like food. It was very good.
Sugar Cane Restaurant – YeovilI like it a lot the prices were very surprising (I only recommend because Chris told me to) very nice (i think)
Sugar Cane Restaurant – YeovilThe best sandwiches and salads in Bristol. Made to order and with a broad choice of salads, hot and cold meats, door step bread and friendly service. Very reasonably priced but given portion sizes, not too good for the waistline.
Maximillions Deli – Bristol City CentreCracking
Frankie and Bennys – Westbury-on-TrymCracking
King William IV – Westbury-on-TrymJust had Mother's day there. Top place. Really nice food in a relaxed atmosphere. Only thing - it was a little cold so wrap up warm!!
Fishers Restaurant – CliftonFood of consistent quality with good service
Eastern Spice – KingswoodNice, ambient lighting, cosy, local artwork on walls, etc. Staff not massively attentive at times. Food is good but we only had nibbles so can't really say. Great range of Belgian beers and gorgeous cocktails (Avon Gorge Mudslide/Chocwork Orange a must...).
Amoeba – Bristol City CentreI recently took my mother and her friend to eat at the Sherston on Mothers Day, the restaurant has been refurbished and the new owners have hired an OUTSTANDING chef. I particularly recommend the Oven Roasted Flat mushrooms, stuffed with stilton and wrapped in Parma ham on salad (it was a special starter), only 4.50 -bargain!
Sherston Inn – WellsWe were staying in Bristol for the weekend and found this restaurant on this web sight and booked because of the previous recommendation. We were so pleased with it that we went back the next evening. We were so well looked after. The food was plentiful and of an excellent quality. The staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. It is busy and you would have to book unless you went after 9.00pm. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it .
