Nice meat but lousy service. A place where some of the staff believe they are doing you a favour by serving you luke warm or cold food. Not a patch on the Toby in Edinburgh we went to.

The Toby Carvery Shenley Church – Milton KeynesLovely place I enjoyed the food and would recommend it definitely
Turtle Bay – Milton KeynesOur 1st visit to this restaurant and definitely our last! They should not be allowed to say they are "fine dining". The staff including the Manager need a course on how to serve and talk to people! Would not recommend this restaurant, you get treated better at your local pub!
Piatto Bianco – BuckinghamExcellent, I ate here a little while ago and was greeted by a warm friendly atmosphere. The guys behind the bar were great, nothing was too much trouble for them, would go back again.
Kiln Farm Club Bar & Restaurant – Milton KeynesWhat a transformation. The pub was left standing and deralict for a few years after the previous landlord passed away. It was a dull and spooky looking pub.It is now bright and inviting; tastefully decorated with a lovely seating area to the rear of the pub. It also has a large car park.My husband and a friend go there once a week for a drink and a chat and sometimes something to eat and he's always come back and said that we should go there. We joined a group of people there recently for a celebration, on a Tuesday evening, and had a delicious, properly cooked carvery. There were 3 different joints of meat, a selection of potatoes and a nice variety of vegetables which were not overcooked and mushy. Two of our group decided not to have the carvery and chose something else from the menu, which has good choice of yummies to eat. Their meals were served appetisingly and although there was plenty on the plate it was not so much that it put you off eating and there was no wastage. Everyone throughly enjoyed the food. Even the puddings were delicious and serviced with a choice of cream, custard or ice cream. The service was friendly and efficient and I wanted to let everyone know that it is well worth a visit. We are going there again this Saturday (8th September) as they have a live band on that night. We will have a nice drink, some lovely food and a thoroughly good evening.
Kings Head Indian Restaurant – Great MissendenHearty helpings of beautiful home cooked food, in pleasant surroundings, with friendly, efficient service. One of the party is lactose intolerant, and they sorted out a good, multichoice menu for her. Prices quite reasonable as well.
The Robin Hood Inn – BuckinghamLovely surroundings and very friendly staff. Food excellent and will be returning .
The Old Beams – Milton KeynesWent for a farewell drink for a colleague from Marlow Youth football club there today (Sunday) and quite shocked by the rudeness of the landlady. Empty when we arrived and had spent several hundred pounds by the time the bar suddenly filled with young drinkers at 11.30pm. Despite no signs landlady said we had to clear pub for private party. 20 minutes later we were threatened with being barred unless we left immediately. When we complained she sent several young men to threaten us. Not somewhere to go for more than a quick drink. Threatening and unpleasant. Marlow Donkey and other views far more accommodating.
The Ship – MarlowStopped in here one afternoon in June 2012 for lunch with a friend and our dogs. Lovely, friendly staff. Great to find a local pub that's dog friendly, traditional, in a pretty location and serves up great food too. Thought prices were very reasonable and some nice soft drink options available for those of us who don't want alcohol!
Cowpers Oak – Olneyate there (with great local beer too) on my trip to olney to see distant cousin. great food and all. nice place, nice people, etc.
The Swan Inn and Bistro – OlneyService was excellent and food was beautiful couldn't have asked for more! Well done!
Bugle Horn – AylesburyHave had five Sunday meals this year including three family meals with five in attendance, every meal has been spot on,staff very helpful and polite. Will continue to use the facilities, thanks for being a good pub
The Dolphin – Newport Pagnellplease can you send me a email regarding the menu as im lookng at my 40th in july for 6 people and you have been highly recomended
The Last Viceroy – Bourne EndDon't honour their deals. Waitresses friendly and all seemed to be going well, until we tried to use a "free dessert with every main course" voucher we printed from the web site. Despite checking before ordering that is was valid, when we tried to redeem the voucher, we were told it was only valid for one dessert, not one each. Very stroppy and defensive "manager" refused to honour the voucher, despite our £70 custom that time and the plan to visit again on numerous occasions. We won't be going there again.
The Robin Hood Inn – BuckinghamSince the re-opening in December last year this pub has really turned around. The whole decor and amibience of the place is beautiful. The food is fantastic and the service was friendly and helpful. Ive now become a regular there and would definitely recomment this restaurant.
The Three Trees – Milton Keyneswe went to piatto bianco in verney juction winslow on saturday night we eat out at least 3 times a month and i would like to say this was the worst place we have been in months the food my wife had was tough and uneatable they didn't offer us a wine list when we had our drinks my wife was given hers second and we wont be going there again
Piatto Bianco – BuckinghamPoor! First visit a couple days ago. As I walked in, the two women were nattering away to each other in Chinese. She simply nodded at me and continued her conversation without asking me what I'd like. There was no interest in what i had to say. No eye contact. Portion sizes were that of a child. The worst part being, when she asked whether I want salt and vinegar (Well she didn't ask, she said "You want") She did so AS she was already putting it on! Easy to assume I DON'T have salt on my chips. Instead of mentioning this, I simply walked out. I can safely say I won't be going back.
North Furzton Fish Bar – Milton KeynesSimply superb: fantastic food and excellent service. but it is far from berkshire. i would request the people start new Red hot in berkshire.
