Agra Indian Restaurant – BurnleyVery modern interior with TV on wall. Comfy seats, friendly attentive staff. Food is to a good standard. I had very nice starter of prawn mango puri starter and main course chicken tikka korma. Peshwari nan was great. Movenpick ice cream was fab for desert/ Only negative is that Side dishes are too small for the £3.50 charged but again very nicely cooked. Rice also served in dish, smaller than usually found in Indians.
Aroma Asian – Burnleyabsolutely brilliant food, atmosphere was very warm friendly and welcoming, the staff are pleasant and very helpful.would definitely recommend this lovely italian restaurant to everyone .will definitely be going back again i enjoyed the food wine and hospitality of all the staff 5* from me
Zio Ristorante – BurnleyExcellent food good service and probably one of the best in the area along with it's sister hotel, The Eagle at Barrow. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone!
The Fence Gate – BurnleyHaving eaten here tonight, we left feeling slightly disappointed as we found the restaurant to be very average, the service was quick but the food was nothing special. Having been to many others, we feel that you do not get what you pay for here. On arrival, we were made to feel welcome, shame this wasn't the case on leaving, the staff/management were far too distracted with personal conversation whilst taking payment to even offer a "thank you" we won't be returning.
Agra Indian Restaurant – Burnleywe were an organised party of 40+ adults - enjoyed an excellent meal from crackers, soup, ribs, spring rolls, chicken wings, prawn toasts, followed by fried rice with spicy beef, sweet and sour pork, lemon chicken, chinese pork, king prawn bird nest, mixed meat curry washed down with excellent wine. Unbelievable value that was enjoyed by all!! Cheers Harry, your wife and staff!
Oriental Buffet Restaurant – BurnleyThe food at my favourite restaurant has improved ten fold over the past 3 years!!!! keep making me smile x
Pendle Inn – BurnleyFood is fantastic - service is terrible - been with friends and if you are in a big group then it's great they love you - BUT been twice now, just the two of us: waited an hour for food; main course was another 30mins later. Went again in case this was a one off - same thing 20mins to be given a drink and a menu. Asked for jasmine tea at endand they forgot. Sorry it's off my list now!
Beijing Restaurant – BurnleyWent to the restaurant after recommendation from a friend, food was excellent, extensive wine list, service was excellent and was busy with a good atmosphere for a Tuesday evening. Would recommend to anyone and will certainly be visiting again! Menu has just been changed (July 09) and prices lowered slightly... more than worth the drive out......
The Fence Gate – BurnleyMe and my family spent a fantastic evenings dining here. The service from the well trained staff is impeccable. The food is very reasonable and worthy of awards in my opinion. The setting of this country pub is lovely and many an afternoon/evening could so easily be whiled away taking in the views whilst dining outside in the garden or tasting the many local ales the pub offers. Well worth a visit!!!
The Sparrowhawk – BurnleyI would recommend Aroma as one of the top Indian restaurants in Lancashire. As you step in,you are greeted by perhaps one of the best looking interiors in Lancashire, with an indoor balcony which you can dine on,plus a swanky bar and many other brilliant features. As you sit and wait for your curry or starter, there is a flat screen TV which shows you the chefs actually making your food. When the food came,it came on fine plates, and my lamb rogan josh was beyond words in presentation, texture and flavour. It is surprising how good value for money is at Aroma too, considering the looks of the restaurant.I gave full compliments to the manager Mahjeed, saying how polite staff were and how impressive the Aroma was as a whole.I would recommend Aroma to anyone in Burnley,or anyone visiting Burnley.
Aroma Asian – BurnleyThis restaurant is simply AMAZING! I have been coming here since I was young with my grandparents and now me and my boyfriend go at least once every 2 months. I have tried various other Chinese restaurants around the area but none can compare. I highly recommend eating here to anybody. Also look out for the Chinese New Year festivities they hold- bound to blow you away!
Beijing Restaurant – Burnleywe went for my mothers birthday and had the best food we have had in a long while. Everything is homemade and the choice is second to none from homemade burgers, steaks, tapas to salads and sandwiches on a variety of breads. The staff made us feel very special and even lit a candle on a small cake for the birthday. It is quite obvious why they have the best in burnley award and the lancashire award. we will be returning on a regular basis.
The Mix – BurnleyFantastic food, great service and the best looking place in burnley
The Mix – Burnleywell three of us had lunch there today .it was brilliant .loads of free salad/ roll /etc from the salad bar and the main meals steak/gammon /burger were all excellent we had three free ices too as we had a token from a newspaper .it was a nice environment and the staff were good at what they did and were pleasant ,and talkative .would recommend to anyone and with drinks for three it was just over £21 well you cant beat that .wish all restaurants were half as good .look and learn everyone ENJOY !!!
Bentley Wood Farm – Harvester – BurnleyOriental Restaurant what can i say, this was fantastic, its £7.50 per head, and you can eat what ever you want in 1 hour and 30 mins. Its great value for money. On arrival to the oriental you see a big fish tank that were under the bar, its a great place, with chinese music playing, some English, and it's fantastic. When me and my wife go we get 2 pints of bitter and 2 meals and it only costs £17.80. Its great value for money. When you go up to the buffet bar, you can see the chefs making the food and working very hard, they are always running out into the buffet area supplying fresh and hot and tasty foods. The Oriental is fantastic, and when you leave your table, the waitresses clean your table when your up at the buffet bar, you come back to you table and eat the fantastic food. They also have a range of desserts in the cake and ice-cream section. Please try it because its fantastic.
Oriental Buffet Restaurant – BurnleyFound the restaurant quite by chance when shopping in Burnley last Saturday - had an excellent freshly cooked spag bol and my partner also had minestrone soup which he enjoyed immensely. Reasonably priced wine and lovely decor - we'll be going back soon.
