Automatic Lounge – BuryLovely fish and chips and as we used a 2 for 1 voucher it was fantastic value for money for the two courses we had. We ate in the lovely cafe which was very clean, comfortable and obviously new. The toilets were also of a good standard and very clean. Unfortunately, the niceness was tainted with the service we received. Our order was taken almost begrudgingly by the waitress who proceeded to treat us almost like an inconvenience. It came across that she did not wish to be there and didn't mind us knowing this. The service was also very slow - we were in there for nearly 2hrs!! Worth going if you just want nice food in a nice environment - just don't expect service with a smile!!!
METRO Fish Bar – BuryEverything you want in a restaurant. Excellent food, excellent service and a Friendly and Welcoming Staff
Ruposhi Indian Restaurant – BuryWhat a little gem in Bury!!! Food, atmosphere and service were second to none. Wouldn't be out of place as a city centre restaurant. Value for money - would recommend to anyone who wanted somewhere a little more special to dine. Well done!
Santino Restaurant – BuryVisited this restaurant after searching through Sugarvine, and so glad we did. This is no "ordinary Italian" restaurant, bordering on the fine dine experience, and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere I could recommend highly enough. The staff were very attentive and the food delightful. A great addition to Bury. Well done guys
Santino Restaurant – BuryVisited this restaurant after searching through Sugarvine, and so glad we did. The pizza in this is what I call a real Italian pizza experience, it had every topping you can think of, and my partner had the pasta which was such a generous portion she (& I) couldn’t finish it off! It has a very relaxing atmosphere, and the staff were very attentive and the food was delightful, I couldn’t praise them enough. A great authentic Italian restaurant to visit in Bury.
Veronas Restaurant – BuryWow, I visited this restaurant for the first time the this week, and was floored by not only the service but the quality of the food also. I ordered the Verona’s Special Pizza and I honestly cannot find the words to describe it, it was wonderful, on a thin crust base and topped with everything, olives, pepperoni, peppers & lashings of cheese amongst other toppings, it was just delish, & the staff could not have been more attentive they made us feel so welcome. I can't wait to return.
Veronas Restaurant – BuryWent to this restaurant with 3 others for a special occasion. A welcome change from the run of the mill restaurants found in Bury. The menu is varied, I would recommend the Pizzas which are fired in a wood burning oven. The service was slick and friendly with complimentary limoncello brought to our table. Will definitely return
Santino Restaurant – BuryMy partner and I spent our first child-free evening in over three years at this new restaurant during it's first week of opening. We were not disappointed with any aspect of our four hour experience. The restaurant was busy but not uncomfortably so; the service was the right side of attentive without being intrusive and the food was exceptional with nothing whatsoever to fault it. - from the garlic bread we shared whilst choosing our meal to the desserts that rounded off our evening (Frederick's ice cream was definitely a bonus for me). If I had to make one minor criticism it would be about the wine list which, though not extensive, was a little more expensive than we're accustomed to. Our bottle of Barbera cost £22 when we usually pay £16-£18 and as this was a kind of celebration we were disappointed to discover that the bottle of Barolo (£39) was sold out leaving us to settle for an Amarone at £45. Thus the wine accounted for almost 50% of the final bill of £130 for the two of us! In fairness we were treating ourselves as ordinarily we don't use taxis and don't spend more than £20 on wine to accompany our meal so the average bill would probably be closer to £50. We shall definitely be returning, with kids, and would certainly recommend Santino to anyone who loves Italian food, with excellent service in comfortable surroundings.
Santino Restaurant – BuryThere nice friendly people that work in there, there price are very reasonable. Nice and clean chip shop.
Walshaw Chippy – BuryIt's ok.. not worthy of the award, but it's a nice place and worth a visit if you're going past.
METRO Fish Bar – BuryWe ate here a few weeks ago, pre show (Bury Met Theatre) and it was really good. Good, prompt service and nice food.
Automatic Lounge – BuryVery busy place and a good atmos. A good end to an arduous shopping trip at the nearby Rock. They always do vouchers at Pizza Express, so it's always good value.
Pizza Express – BuryI visited what the local call 'The Shoulder' after a walk up the nearby Holcombe Hill with my fiance. The pub sits right at the bottom of the hill and is ideally placed for those who have built up an appetite after a walk. We shared pate for starters. I say shared because it's not the usual smaller portion you may get elsewhere. The presentation was also great. For the main course we both plumbed for the fish and chips. Largely down to seeing it being brought out to other tables and getting food envy! The fish was good and cooked in fresh crispy batter. The chips were great also big chunky chips served in a mini steel bucket! Temptation then struck and it was good old sticky toffee pudding to finish off. Great food, great location and good service. The pub has a great atmosphere and if you like your ales as I do then I recommend the Timothy Taylor Landlord. Cheers
Shoulder Of Mutton – Buryafter a bad day watching spurs lose to burnley,we found the jewel in the crown on our way back to London, fantastic food, great service & would highly recommend this curry house...
Jewel In The Crown – BuryI've never had a bad meal in all the years I've been eating at Automatic. The staff are great and aim to please. My daughter loves it so much she had her 18th birthday celebrations here. Everyone had a fantastic evening.
Automatic Lounge – BuryWe all went for lunch from work and I must say I was dubious but the food was absolutely delicious we all had something different and the food was to die for and the pub is a nice olde worlde pub with a nice roaring fire and the staff where really nice and friendly.
Shoulder Of Mutton – BuryReally nice food not expensive but also not your usual frozen pub food service is good, you will need to book for the restaurant part rather than the pub that can get busy.
