Fabulous place, the food here is great. I tried their chicken donner and chips. Love it.
Fish Chip ‘n’ Dip – BuryExcellent! Local family Chinese takeaway with very nice food and large portions. You've got to try the fried crispy shredded chicken ( a bit spicy) and the singapore noodles!! Gorgeous!! Always served with a smile! Definitely recommend!!
Golden City – BuryI do believe this has been taken over by the same people who have the Shoulder of mutton in holcombe village. The chef and his business partner own both. Both are great pubs to Dine in. Food fab.. Keep it up
The Victoria – Burywent here on Sunday and it was excellent. recommend booking as they were turning people away before 7 who had not made reservations as they were busy. food delicious and good value, childrens menu fine, service friendly and unobtrusive but there when you needed it, worth the trip the young chef has got it spot on and the busy pub showed that. Will be back soon.
Shoulder Of Mutton – BuryWhat a lovely place, stopped going to the Vic years ago (landlady was awful) but decided to give it a try because all my friends have said a lot of good things about it, definitely not disappointed, the food was as it states (real food) not microwave as you would find in most of the pubs in and around bury. Staff very polite and eager to make your evening as relaxing and enjoyable as they possibly can. I will be recommending the Victoria to many more of my friends and hope that some of the people that was put off when the rude landlady was there also give the Victoria a try, its just what Walshaw needs!!!
The Victoria – BuryA visit here is well worth while and the queue reflects why its so popular.. This fish and chips shop is always clean and tidy, staff are fast and friendly, this is a real hit with the locals.. The parking is limited to across the road. The food is good value for money. I personally recommend, the donner meat and chips with salad and sauce. That is a real hit. I love their burgers too.
Fish Chip ‘n’ Dip – BuryGood original old English fish & chip shop, no pizza no kebabs excellent food well recommended pay a visit.
Sundial Chip Shop – Buryi have eaten at many places around the north west but i have never tasted the finest home made food like here at Rajahs in bury on bolton road. Its out of this world and the staff are great especially mr.Imran who welcomes the customer with great respect and i was made to feel at home. Also you can view the chef making your food in front of your eyes. While you have a free cup of coffee!I would never go anywhere else than Rajahs of bury. Weldon mr.Imran and the staff at the Rajahs of Bury! Your JUST GREAT!
Rajah Tandoori – Buryhad a lovely night out at jewel in the crown. food delicious, staff polite, beautiful interior very clean
Jewel In The Crown – Buryvery disappointed food suspected partly processed e.g tasted and looked like packet mash with mustard never had liquid mash before. Yorkshire puds sent back burnt. veg portion meagre for 7 people. soup like watered down packet tasteless and no body to it.overpriced for such poor quality spoilt family day out.
The Waggon At Birtle – Burysome of the best fish and chips I have tasted for a long time. The chips were brown and dry and the fish was large, fresh and cooked in a light crispy batter. The menu was quite varied, including scampi, pies, puddings, etc as well as a selection of starters and desserts. The Fish Bar, which only opened in January, together with the cafe, are beautifully designed and decorated with an entirely black and white theme. The only criticism which I have is that, although the staff are friendly and helpful, the service is quite slow
METRO Fish Bar – BuryIgnorant staff, cheap alternatives used not local produce - avoid like the plague!!!
Church Inn The – BuryWhat a fantastic place. The food was great quality, with a varied menu. The experience of the chefs is obvious, they do great things with local produce. The setting was great too, a traditional pub with a restaurant extension and rural views that go on as far as the eye can see. All in all, an excellent experience.
Church Inn The – Buryfantastic food, really tasty, lovely staff and very friendly, always a great meal, happy customers, bury.
Jewel In The Crown – Buryexcellent service, friendly manner, good cuisine very clean and we go every month 5 stars..
Jewel In The Crown – BuryOur favourite Bury Indian, lovely friendly staff along with olde English surroundings! Romantically lit, coffee is superb. Pleasant music and magical freshly cooked curries and sides, normally around £35 for poppadoms, curry, naan, vegetable side and a couple of draught pints of chilled Kingfisher. Complete with Bombay mix whilst you browse the menu, who could ask for more.
Mala Indian Cuisine – BuryVery modern inside, food really tasty, great place to eat and relax with friends. i love the way they stack the chunky chips & the steak is very good.
Automatic Lounge – BuryVery traditional village pub serving good quality food. Recommended.
