Zensai – Camden TownBrilliant !! You must go there....the only true DJ venue in Camden!
Bar Vinyl – Camden Townthis is by far the best Camden has to offer, fantastic authentic malay cuisine, great decor and atmosphere and both classic and contemporary cocktails, shaken to perfection.really friendly service too, which is a rarity these days
Zensai – Camden Townfantastic food and great cocktails and great service, later at night a dj starts and the place becomes a bit more funky, its a great place to start and finish the night
Zensai – Camden TownWe had a very memorable day/night at the Engineer. Right from the off it was spot on. On ordering that fine beer Erdinger the bar lady cooled our glasses. The restaurant was full but then a table was found for us. The service was quirky and friendly with great advice on food a wine choices, particularly Lydia. I had a seabass with Miso sauce, ginger and mash. I dont believe Ive ever had a better fish dish. We got back on the Erdinger after dinner and enjoyed the buzz of a busy and cool Primrose Hill pub. Seek it out!
The Engineer – Camden TownVery very good, the sushi was fresh and the delivery was prompt.
YouMeSushi – Camden TownWhat a lovely place! We had dinner there last night and left completely satisfied. The food was of excellent quality(and quantity), the service was good and great value for money. They have made a local out of me. Well done!!!
Prince Albert – Camden TownThis place is fantastic. Was there last Friday and could barely get in the place, and little wonder. They run two menus: bar and restaurant, both equally as impressive from what I could see. Plus a specials board that I’m reliably told by a local friend of mine changes on a regular basis. Classy restaurant set-up on the first floor and laid back ground floor bar. Service was friendly and helpful. Food was great. I had the rabbit pie, my partner the turbot. Desserts were divine. Excellent value for money when you consider some of the ingredients they are using. Have already booked my place for Christmas. Highly recommend.
Prince Albert – Camden TownApparently recently refurbished and to a pretty high standard with some nice touches giving a very comfortable and cool ambience. Food is served downstairs in the bar area or upstairs in a well thought through dining room. Food is very good verging on the excellent - tried the rabbit and wild mushroom pie and mash, which was class, along with any of the desserts that are dangerously moorish. Prices were not dear for what you get. On the whole def worth a visit.
Prince Albert – Camden TownThe food is great value for money. You can get the daily special, which includes salad, chapati and a really gorgeous rice pudding, and a beer for less than £10. Service isn't exacly quick, but it's so close to my office that's not much of an issue for me. The other non-specials on the menu look fab as well, and I only see "clean plates" when the tables are being cleared!
Ravi Shanker Indian Vegetarian Restaurant – Camden TownReally nice combo of bar and restaurant, great pan Asian cuisine, fantastic cocktails and beautiful surroundings, go there to treat a loved one or to impress a first date
Zensai – Camden TownLa Porchetta is probably my favourite Italian Pizzeria restaurant in London. It is a very popular place. It is sizeable so you are likely to find a place even if you haven't booked. It is very popular for Birthday meals and can get a little noisy. Great to go there with a bunch of friends. Lots of good things on the menu. The Pizzas are excellent. It has an abundance of ambience and character. Great value for money too.
La Porchetta – Camden TownWOW! I had never tried goat before but there curried goat was spectacular!
Mango Room – Camden TownThis has to be the best sushi I've had in London! I've tried upmarket restaurants that charge a small fortune and sketchy "finds" recommended mostly by friends, well, this place is somewhere in between atmosphere-wise but the food is delicious. The nigiri tasted excellent and I think that's the real test for any sushi place.
Bento Cafe – Camden Towna surprising find as it's very discreet appearance doesn't make it leap out at you. the decor is fun, low-lit and full of bamboo and a miniture jungle (!). always busy, friendly staff who will cook to order, and BYO which is handy. food is always fantastic, traditional malaysian dishes beautifully presented and all at reasonable prices. a place to come for a fun romantic dinner or great for larger parties wanting a banquet. once you've been you'll be back that's for sure.
Bintang – Camden TownI love this restaurant!! I think its fab. I've been going there for a while and each time I go, the food seems to get better (although it's already wonderful). The service is very friendly, as you would expect from Thai staff, they also wear authentic clothing, which adds to the feel of this place. It is a hidden gem in Chalk Farm/Camden that should be explored. My fav is the Pad Thai, Thai green curry, it's all good! Very reasonably priced too.. Go, you won? regret it...Enjoy!
Muang Thai Restaurant – Camden TownSimply fantastic, it is a haven away from the hectic life we live in London. I go there whenever I can, with friends I have and new friends I have made there. The staff are great, always smiling and attentive. The food is the best Spanish food I have had in London, huge range of cocktails as well. On a Monday night they have live Flamenco, which is simply amazing to watch. I love it!
Bar Gansa – Camden TownOne of the most accomplished of all the neighbourhood gastro pubs. They got it right from day one, great staff, exciting and interesting menus, superb wine list. Unpretentious, quality, good for talent and celebrity spotting.
