Great service. Prompt for a party of 20+ Good food well presented

Booked a table well in advance for 5.30pm and was looking forward to the Sunday roast. However upon arriving we were served drinks and then were told there were no more Sunday Roasts. We left and went to another pub in the same chain where we received a lovely Sunday Dinner. Unlikely to return

Excellent Sunday lunch very good value for money

Came in on Saturday at 6.30, and was served by a young man who was very helpful and very welcoming. He was very assertive and accommodated our needs throughout the time we were there. Only negative for us was that there was no white Pinot Grigio available to drink.

Great food, Grest service .

Excellent food and service at a reasonable price. A little bit noisy at the time we were there, but that's probably due to the afore mentioned food and service. I would recommend trying this venue, but, best book in advance. It is quite popular.

Had a few of the Tuesday Fish, chips & peas for £10 offer. Absolutely delicious and great value, the fish is huge. The staff are lovely and attentive.

Moved to the area recently and recommended as a stop on a dog walk. Decided to book Sunday dinner. Full menu available but the trio Sunday roast looked too good to miss. Very impressed with portion size for main meal. Not as great for pudding as a bit small for the price although quality was excellent. Overall good value for money. We will return

Three of us came for an early lunch yesterday. Usual warm welcome and great patience with Mum who struggles to walk with a zimmer frame. Food was hot and delicious as usual ...no faults at all. Thanks

All four of us enjoyed our meal. Good food, good service and pleasant, attentive staff

Booked online about 4 hours before we needed the table. Booking was very easy. We arrived some 40 minutes before our table was booked for. This was no problem to the staff. Ordered drinks at the bar and within a few minutes we were shown to our table. No issue with changing the tab I’d opened from one table to another. They were busy if not full at 19.30 on a Friday night, our food came within a few minutes of ordering. Our meals were really good and well presented. We found it better value than other places in the area. This is only the second time we have been here in 6 years, as previously it was well out of our area, but now we are looking at making it a monthly visit.

Lovely food. Portion size perfect. Lovely ambience and service. Only complaint-£3.60 for an apple juice!
