Lovely hotel. Used a voucher to take four of us out for afternoon tea. Very well presented. We each had large individual teapots. Really good sandwiches, very tasty. The scones were excellent and served warm. The cakes were a lovely selection, especially the Bakewell tart and lemon sponge. The room was small, quiet and intimate.

Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordAlthough we have been to an evening wedding reception in the past last Monday was the first time that we had been for afternoon tea. We were not disappointed and enjoyed an excellent selection of sandwiches, cakes and the homemade scones with clotted cream and jam were to die for and we asked the staff to mention this to the kitchen staff. We will definitely be back again and being only 10 minutes away from a restaurant in such a lovely setting is a bonus.

Staff were so friendly and helpful, one of our party was in a wheel chair and they sent us a video prior to arriving to show the entrance to check she would be able to manage it. Also got lost in the forest walking enroute to the pub ask we arrived an hour late, after a couple of phone calls the staff were very accommodating holding our table for us. Would recommend and definoteturn again when we are next camping in the forest. Thanks
