Lilac Cottage Tapas & Wine Bar – MacclesfieldWhat a great place to celebrate my friend’s birthday! All 6 of us really enjoyed ourselves. Great venue, great price for high tea and good service! Full marks for the staff especially Sam. Thank you for making this a memorable birthday celebration and get together. We will definitely come again.

Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordHad a lovely evening. Food as always was excellent. Service excellent. Staff welcoming and friendly nothing too much trouble. Well worth a visit
Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyGreat food. Lovely staff and atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend it
The Ship Inn – MacclesfieldWe wanted to eat somewhere different that reminded us of our continental holidays. Good choice of well cooked food. We had the breaded starters. - very tasty and for mains the Gambas / chicken but the star were the lamb chops. Tried the house lager! Which was fine although more like a light beer. Very enjoyable meal and we were looked after well by Mara. Not on the menu but they made a white lady for my wife which she really liked . Definitely we would go there again.
Lilac Cottage Tapas & Wine Bar – MacclesfieldWe celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversay with a meal at Mere Court having had our wedding reception here. The young guy that served us was friendly and attentive. We ordered a bottle of wine but had to ask for a clean glass, one of the ones that we were given was filthy! The starters were lovely. The mains were a little disapointing, the pork fillet was supposed to be served with pancetta, they must have run out as there was none on the plate, the beef was a little dry. My husband had the chocolate cake for desert which he enjoyed. I ordered the cheese, the cheese itself was nice however it was served with very dried out celery sticks and grapes that were past their best and truning brown. The music in the dining room wasnt really what youd expect from the setting and really didnt help to create a nice ambience. We overheard a lady on another table complain about her main course too. Maybe it was just a bad day for the kitchen!!
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordLovely to visit again, always happy with an evening at Bacchus, food usually wonderful, but have to say this time , my Sauté potatoes were hard and over cooked, but it did not ruin my meal, as always the service second to none, and hope to visit again soon. Liz
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldMade an overnight stop here returning from holiday in Shetland and found it entirely up ro expectations, with some pleasing variations on normal pub fare.
Egerton Arms Astbury – CongletonHaving returned to the Carriers this weekend (Sun) we were not disappointed the Sunday roast was amazing, likewise the service from such a friendly bunch of people. We decided to sit outside in the newly renovated beer garden and bar area, which was delightful. I can honestly say every time we have visited the hospitably is 1st class, keep up the great work.
The Carriers Inn – FrodshamJust had Sunday lunch at the Cheshire Yeoman. Food was perfect, surroundings were lovely and the staff were super helpful and made for a perfect experience. Will definitely be back back and recommend the Yeoman for a quality, good value meal in friendly pub surroundings.
The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortThe food was nice, however music was too loud...which made everyone having to shout in order to be able to talk. The service was not best. We had a person with allergies, and option given was chips.
Elmas Restaurant – LymmExcellent place thank you. I bumped into the manager, I knew her from The Cafe de Paris. Lovely service, they are knowledgeable and pleasant. The food is really good, The range of products is just about right. The atmosphere is vibrant and not noisy. The total bill is okay but only we had one drink. Thank you, we will be back.
Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyGreat choice of food. Fresh tasty meals. Excellent service . There is a warm welcome from the staff. Staff are helpful with menu and any allergies. Would highly recommend The Egerton Arms.
