The Royal Oak – NantwichWe went here for the first time and was very impressed. The food was amazing, the service was excellent and found it very comfortable. It was not expensive very value for money and will definitely be going again.
The Royal Oak – NantwichWent for the 2 course lunch with my sister for a girlie catch up. What a lovely place, the food was wonderful, the portions were generous and there was a great choice on the menu and excellent value for the two courses. The staff were so welcoming, attentive and very personable, we will definitely be revisiting. Highly recommend.
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldAs always, superb food and service. This restaurant is our favourite place to relax and unwind as a couple!
Bacchus Restaurant – Macclesfieldone of the best Italian meal I have had anywhere
Carbonara at No 49 – ChesterWe had friends up from London last weekend and brought them to Lilac Cottage, having raved about it. Unfortunately we were disappointed. It was obvious that Felipe and Haseena weren’t there. Food and service just weren’t up to their normal excellent standard. No lamb chops, which are our favourites and are normally superb and no Padrón peppers, which our guests particularly fancied. Not put us off though, we are going back tomorrow!!
Lilac Cottage Tapas & Wine Bar – MacclesfieldSea bass with pak choi and crushed new potatoes and Tenderloin of pork with carrots, beans and roast new potatoes were both excellent.
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldExceptional, from the minute that we cross the door, to the minute that we left it.
Babba – WarringtonGreat food and service from friendly staff
Babba – WarringtonThe best Italian meal I have had outside of Italy. Service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Everything was explained and the wine recommendation was spot on. Coming from Italian heritage I can be quite critical, but it was an absolute pleasure to eat at this totally authentic restaurant. Can not recommend Carbonara @ 49 highly enough. Will definitely be back.
Carbonara at No 49 – ChesterLovely evening. Good choice of food. Service was very good. Would re visit
Lilac Cottage Tapas & Wine Bar – MacclesfieldArrived with my family for Sunday dinner. They were very busy but unfortunately this was reflected in the service. Had to ask for cutlery as table wasn't set for arrival, after asking 3 times for a drink ended up going to the bar for it, 1 set of veg for 4 adults and 1 child... had to ask for the rest. I could go on! Kayley was lovely and Rob, the manager has since spoken to us. We will try there again but probably not on a busy Sunday afternoon! Food was good but didn't hang around for dessert so couldn't comment on that.
The Royal Oak – NantwichGreeted by lovely friendly staff. Upon being seated we were given a nice glass of prosecco because it was our wedding anniversary - lovely gesture from the house. Food is excellent with a wide range of choice. Atmosphere was good and value for money. Would well recommend this restaurant.
Babba – WarringtonExcellent food and service, would definitely recommend.
The Royal Oak – NantwichWent for a quick pre concert meal. Service was excellent and a good atmosphere despite it being early. Enjoyed chatting with the Spanish waiters with our pathetic Spanish. Meal and wine were superb. Disappointing that no coffee seemed available ( why not?). Definitely intend to go again: could be our regular pre concert venue.
