Disappointing Fish in fish and chips was small and a bit dry albeit batter was crispy. (Smaller portions than last year) Gammon was rather tough and chewy Mushy peas were fine Crab was a bit tasteless and prawns small and chewy Also food took nearly an hour to be served (maybe 45 mins but ridiculous given very few diners)
The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortNice food, nice drinks, good atmosphere. Great service. Thanks - we'll come again!
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldDisappointing Fish in fish and chips was small and a bit dry albeit batter was crispy. The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortExcellent food, excellent service a great night out. Staff were really helpful & friendly.
Elmas Restaurant – LymmMy partners meal was a little disappointing as my partners chips were not quite warm enough and some were burt. The gammon had a too much fat on it. The meal on our last stay was excellent.
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordFantastic Sunday roasts lots of meat very tasty and the wet nelly and the jam roly poly and custard were delicious! Friendly staff and great service
Alvanley Arms – TarporleyThere were four of us we had Sunday lunch. We all had the beef it was delicious Nice size portions and everything well cooked. All staff very pleasant and helpful. We really enjoyed it. Look forward to going again.
The Cock – MacclesfieldWe had an enjoyable meal and the service was really good
The Carriers Inn – FrodshamFantastic place to eat, lovely pub, staff really nice too.
White Lion at Alvanley – FrodshamBeen meaning to go for food here for the last two years; eventually managed it and went for dinner this weekend. We were warmly greeted as we walked in and shortly thereafter had an order taken for drinks, which arrived promptly. We waited a short while for food to arrive but it was well worth it when it did. Lovely large portions and very delicious, clearly home cooked, food. Highly recommended and the best we've found in the area.
The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortVisited the lovely Capella restaurant again and had a very tasty 6 dishes between each of our two couples. Plenty of delicious choices, good sized tasty portions. Had a very nice bottle of well priced red wine. Attentive staff who made the whole experience great. A few more diners would have added to the atmosphere, but there was a cosy feel to the restaurant. It's so nice to have lovely Italian food in the village.
The Tigers Head Country Pub and Dining – FrodshamAnother fabulous meal. Great service and lovely food. Never fails to disappoint.
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldBacchus Restaurant in Prestbury village is one of the best restaurants in Cheshire in my opinion. From the moment you arrive it’s impeccable service. The food is amazing, nothing is too much trouble. They seem to go out of the way to make your evening special. I would highly recommend a visit.
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldGreat location for Afternoon Tea. Service and tea itself were both great. Gardens seem quite pleasant but rain restricted our viewing Well worth the money!
