Cafe De Paris – NantwichWe were in a party of four and we really enjoyed the fish and chips. It was excellent value And quality. We look forward to similar offers moving forward.. Well done, Joanne and Leigh.
The Tigers Head Country Pub and Dining – FrodshamGo here a lot as good service and great food but on our visit on 3/7/24 slow service which they said was due to an oven problem,my wife’s starters pastry was not cooked fully and her main was not hot. Will consider going again but they need to take ownership of the problem not just dismiss our complaint upon leaving

Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldFriendly staff and lovely food. Can't ask for more than that.
The Carriers Inn – FrodshamHad a nice Sunday Lunch at the White Lion. I had pre booked and asked for table by a window. Arrived slightly early , booking not checked and was shown to a table in the restaurant area near the kitchen in and out doors. Table was actually ok. The food was lovely as was the staff but they have to fix the kitchen exit door !!!!! It was banging shut every time someone came out. Very annoying , it got to the point that we were waiting for it each time ! Apparently it’s been like this for some time . You can imagine how many times it banged shut as staff came out of kitchen ! TO THE MANAGER ….. it just needs the slow close repairing or replacing , simple !I think the staff would appreciate it also . Other than that would return but refuse that area to dine in .
White Lion at Alvanley – FrodshamWe attended on Saturday evening, there were three of us in our party. The first impressions were a warm welcoming pub, lovely decor and pleasant and welcoming staff. The menu had something for everyone, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food. The steak was one of the best tasted in a long time, beautifully cooked and presented and the accompanying chips also excellent. The hanging Greek style kebab was very tasty too. The puddings were also delicious. Top marks for customer service, atmosphere and value. We will definitely be returning.
Alvanley Arms – TarporleyGreat place to have any meal. Excellent service by all members of staff who were friendly and efficient and personable.
Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyWe visited on Saturday evening at 6. we had booked, there were 4 of us and 2 dogs. Football was on the TV(Euro 24) and the table we were allocated was in a noisy section, staff were very helpful and there was no problem moving table. The food was adequate for a pub menu, I wouldn't order the arancini starter again it was bland. We all ordered separate main courses. The goats cheese and beetroot salad was very tasty. At the end of the meal we all ordered coffees with Baileys or Tia Maria, 4 different requests and they were all delivered hot and well presented and with a smile considering each was a distinct request. On service it was a bit mixed, 1 member of staff( didn't get her name) was a bit negative focussing a little too often on what they didn't have available each time she took an order however a most positive call out on lovely service for the manager and Annie( new member of staff who was still learning and lovely and will go far)
The Carriers Inn – FrodshamVisited with my mother and daughter as a birthday celebration. The booking of a table was easy. I have been before and returned as we have previously found the food of good quality. Sadly not this time , my mother and daughter had Sunday lunch with lamb, whilst the portion was plentiful they found the meat more mutton than lamb. I had the beef and ale pie , the meat was dry, overcooked and reheated as was the pastry .
White Lion at Alvanley – FrodshamWe enjoyed two lovely meals in the restaurant. Friendly service and a good selection on the menu.
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordLovely local pub with a very nice bistro restaurant attached. The food is excellent and the Sunday roast is one of the best you can find. You definitely need to book for weekends as it isn’t a huge place, but well worth it. The staff are friendly and very helpful with any menu changes etc. Also some really good vegetarian/vegan options. Definitely recommend trying it out if you haven’t already been.
The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortWe have visited several times and always been overwhelmed by the extraordinary cuisine and exceptional service Better than Rick Steins Can’t wait to visit again
