Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyFood and staff excellent never had a bad meal all the time we have been going
Alvanley Arms – TarporleyWhat a wonderful time we had. We booked a meal after my dad’s 80th birthday ‘I-fly’ in Manchester and it did not disappoint on any level. Fabulous food, super service, delightful decor, an exquisite experience all round. Everyone made my dad feel really special as did the other dinners (who I think were lucky to be more local than us - thus can visit more easily and enjoy the lovely wine!) We will be back…and I would strongly recommend a visit. It’s certainly worth the trip…
Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyWe visited to have a meal before the Russell Watson show at the nearby church. It was very busy. The food was delicious except the cheesecake was a little disappointing/dry and another in our party didn't like chickpeas in the chilli main meal. There seemed to be too many people dining. Whilst waiting in the bar area, there was little room for the waiters/waitresses to carry the food, drinkers had to constantly move out of the way. We attended last year and it seemed that people dined only in the restaurant area separate from people drinking in the bar. It was good, but could be better - it was too busy sadly.
Egerton Arms Astbury – CongletonLovely pub with great food. Staff are friendly and give good service A place to go - we will be returning
White Lion at Alvanley – FrodshamGreat atmosphere, very friendly staff who were excellent even on the very busy Saturday before Christmas. We brought friends with us who were also very impressed. Already planning the return visit to have rather more to eat.
Cafe De Paris – NantwichA great restaurant, amazing food and great staff. Thank you for an excellent evening.
Pacino’s – ChesterService and ambience perfect. Two of our party are gluten free and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent food choices. Staff friendly, courteous and helpful. Worth every penny!
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldEnjoyed the Christmas menu, as always, excellent food, good service and a very pleasant atmosphere. We return because of the consistently high standard from all the staff, and I recommend Bacchus
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldLovely food( mostly!!), excellent waitress and service 2nd christmas meal I've had this year t the Alvanley. Please read the reviews as once again the mince pies were absolutely inedible!! Learn to make pastry or buy some in.
Alvanley Arms – TarporleyLike many others I am a long time customer and, although I don't now go as often as I would wish to, it is still the best restaurant for value and good food in Chester. The people who run it are lovely and always make you feel welcome. It may be the "hidden gem" that many people call it but if you are visiting Chester it really is worth seeking out.
Pacino’s – ChesterFood is absolutely top notch. We had lamb, and it melted in your mouth. Our starter of garlic and Stilton mushrooms was to die for and I don’t mind admitting we tipped the bowls up at the end to drink the beautiful sauce. Well worth the price and both the food and the service will be hard to beat. This is going to be a regular stop off when we want to eat out.
Egerton Arms Astbury – CongletonHad a wonderful evening meal made even better by the lovely waitress and by the chef willingly altering dishes to accommodate my dairy intolerance. Than you so much!
The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortLunch from the Xmas menu, 18 Dec was excellent, as we expected. We always enjoy our visits to Bacchus enormously. The staff are friendly and very efficient. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldWe had our wedding meal here the food was top quality and the service was excellent. Set in a lovely location would highly recommend to others.
Egerton Arms Astbury – CongletonLunch was d delicious. Served on white tablecloths by very good and helpful waiters who
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldWe came here on a Wednesday night with a couple of friends and well, what a lovely experience we had. Hot, fresh and delicious food, quick service for drinks and all servers were so friendly and approachable. Couldn't do enough for us! Especially with the "extra touch" the lady (I can't remember her name unfortunately) did for us with my partner's hot chocolate. Truly delightful night.
