Haven't been here for a good few years. Blazing open fire gone but eh. Food was fantastic as were staff. On my way again this sunday with my mum. Well done.

The Salt Barge – NorthwichSo disappointed tonight met up with a friend for xmas get together, food average, but service appalling. Brought the bill before even asked, told as closing her till. Then asked could we order another drink, to be told to go to the barOriginally when booked told Tom Jones night . Was no entertainment on and the place was dead, no atmosphere. Bar staff ignorant on how to serve basic drink!!! Told to drink up as closing doors at 11.15. Not the night what we expected and will not recommend to friends or revisit. Two very unhappy customers who have previously visited and had good service.
Memphis Belle – WarringtonFantastic food brilliant service last time we visited. Going again tonight Weds 10th December with our friends fingers crossed it's just as good.
Old Sessions House – KnutsfordA wedding party of 18 of us dined at The Swettenham Arms. We were given attentive service and nothing seemed too much trouble. Considering our number the courses were served and cleared promptly and with a minimum of fuss and all enjoyed the delicious fare. The Australians loved the atmosphere and interior and for a change it made us proud to be able to take them to a place wher the service was exemplary. Thank you to all the staff who made the day soooo special
Swettenham Arms – CongletonVisited this yesterday the most amazing food and plenty of it, service excellent would definitely go back. Food well presented.
Ristorante Italia – BebingtonWe have visited the Nag's Head on several occasions recently and have always been satisfied with both the quality of the service and the food (especially the Sunday roasts).
The Nags Head at Haughton Moss – TarporleyHad a excellent meal very authentic enjoyed the environment and the ambience of the evening. In the past I have visited various italian and Sicilian venues and have eaten traditional foods at my close Sicilian friends homes. I find Romazzino on the same par x
Romazzino – NantwichEnjoyed a wonderful meal on 10/11 at this new restaurant. I live local.
Oak n Grill – WidnesI have been to the Swettenham arms many times over a number of years and enjoyed both the food and the drink, however after our last visit I don't think that it will be on our list of places to go in the future. We arrived at 12.00 on a Tuesday lunch time and at almost 14.00 we were still waiting for our desert, at that point we gave up on ever seeing it and left. Shame but time to move on I think and we were not the only ones left waiting.
Swettenham Arms – CongletonABSOLUTE FILTHY HOLE WITH IGNORANT STAFF DO NOT GO!!!!! Me and my family went last sunday we had a 20 min wait. No problem as it was sunday we were served drinks in filthy glasses, only forks on our table no knives, beef was disgusting, waitress could not find another spoon for our pudding so she brought us a tea spoon which looked like it had come from the floor. I have had a full refund but with no apology at all shocking from the management. I dont normally complain but feel I needed to this this time, word of advise dont go here if you insist on Toby go to Warrington or somewere else. I personally will never step foot in a Toby again there are other carverys now well nicer and cheaper you have been warned. I know at least four familys that have stopped going here because of same problems.
Toby Carvery Widnes – WidnesAbsolutely the best Indian cuisine available in the Crewe and Nantwich Area, whether your eating in or taking home. I first met the owner about 30 years ago, whilst undertaking my first ever job, cleaning pots at an Indian restaurant in Crewe, he is the most honest/reliable guy you'd ever meet, his staff mostly consist of family and close friends. Call in, you won't be disappointed. Happy eating!!!!!
Naaz Tandoori – NantwichI wish to thank you for a lovely evening spent at the Swettenham Arms last Friday to celebrate my son’s birthday. All of the staff from start to finish were extremely pleasant and helpful Nothing was too much trouble for anyone and noticeably a friendly attitude pervaded. Needless to say, the food was superbly cooked and enjoyed by us all .So once again many thanks to everyone and we hope you continue the brilliant work and that we visit again soon.
Swettenham Arms – CongletonI took my family up there on Sunday. Great selection of roast meats available. Really warm atmosphere. Friendly staff and GREAT food!! Will definitely be coming again.
The Plough at Eaton – CongletonBest chippy in Runcorn never had a bad meal, always great service.
Dolphin Supper Bar – RuncornWhenever we go to Nantwich we visit Harrisons. It provides superb food, service and value in a lovely setting. Wish it was in our home town.
Harrisons Cafe Bar – NantwichAbsolute disgrace. Food cold, staff intimidating, never again. Beware.
Anmol Restaurant – WarringtonVery poor quality and relatively high price. Would not recommend.
Dine India Restaurant – CreweThis is a delightful country restaurant in a most charming setting. The food is fantastic yet the menu is simple being real country fare. The cakes and salad bar are truly mouth watering! The staff are friendly and helpful. I have been coming to this restaurant with my family for many years and hope to continue to do so. I would highly recommend The Country Mouse to anyone visiting the Wirral.
