Incredible food, great service and great value. You wont find a restaurant more interesting that this in Cheshire Oaks - with amazing interior and great songs coming from the juke box. Amazing.

Ed’s Easy Diner – Cheshire Oaks – Ellesmere PortAbsolutely dire - saw the chef stiring the baked beans to go with my breakfast with his finger and then wiping his hands on a filthy tea towelOver priced at half the menu priceDont bother go to Swankys down the road
Hales of Chester – ChesterI've just been to the Coach and Horses for our work's Christmas lunch (18/12/12) and had the best meal in ages. The food was served piping hot and with just the right time delay between courses. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Can't wait to go again.
Coach and Horses Inn – CreweThe food wasn't any better than you get in a road side greasy spoon cafe, and the prices were pretty much the same as places with better food, like Frankie
Ed’s Easy Diner – Cheshire Oaks – Ellesmere PortWhat a gem of a restaurant! Went to Picchu Tapas on Thursday evening for my husband’s birthday. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, with attentive service throughout. We opted for 4 dishes from the tapas menu, and the paella mixta. We absolutely loved this place, can't wait to go again - lovely atmosphere, great value and fantastic food.
Picchu Tapas – SandbachThis shop holds the Fish and Chip Quality Award from the National Federation of Fish Friers, an independent body who has assessed the shop for hygiene and cleanliness, food preparation practices, quality of product and customer service. You can be confident of the quality of the fish and chips at this shop.
Jacksons Supper Bar – WilmslowI visited The Drum and Monkey last Friday (30th November) and arrived around tea time slightly before food was being served. The member of staff who welcomed/greeted me must have known I was an outsider as I observed details and picked up some leaflets on the way in; he obviously wanted to create a good impression – which he did – and nothing was false. The welcome I received was what I would have expected VIPs to get. After asking my requirements and getting my drink I was shown to the dining area and relaxed. When food time arrived, I had my basic fish and chips and both the fish and chips were crispy and fresh, and after my meal I went into the bar area and spoke to a few people while finishing off my drink who were friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly all round. As I was leaving I told this member of staff who had welcomed and served me that I had seen the pub on Sugarvine as I guessed he was curious, and I told him I like visiting places as I travel around so take a look at Sugarvine. He was pleased to hear of this and as a result may be expecting a good review on Sugarvine now. It was very a comfortable, good quality pub, with reasonable prices and well worth another visit next time I am down that way again. You don’t have to be a millionaire to experience that VIP treatment.
Drum and Monkey – Alderley EdgePlace is a joke 45mins I was told for delivery after 1hour I rang he just left and hung up on me. 1Hour 30mins rang again and the owner just hung up on me an didn't answer again. He turned up 2hours later offered me it £1 off the price. Told him I didn't want it.
Chicken@Gios – MacclesfieldVery disappointed with La Perla. Manager's manner is brusque to the point of rudeness. Starter ok. My main course was microwaved and fairly bland. Desert, disappointing. People nearby were complaining their pizza was so tough that they couldn't cut it. If you want an Italian in Nantwich - go to Casa Romazzino. It's much better.
Amici – NantwichMy wife and I eat regularly at this restaurant and I do not recognise it as the same place described above. In my humble opinion it is a wonderful welcoming place and the food has always been first class. We have frequented a number of Chinese restaurants and this has to be one of the best which is why we keep going back. I cannot speak more highly of this restaurant. or the lovely staff.
Delamere Fortune Palace Chinese Restaurant – FrodshamBrilliant atmosphere, wonderful ambience and scrummy food - what more could you ask for. We visit every time we come up from London to Nantwich - it puts some London pubs to shame! Well done Black Lion
Black Lion The – NantwichThis bar is terrible, the door staff are so horrible and agressive. My friend got knocked to the ground by the older of the 2 bouncers for no reason at all. his friend said it was an accident, but the man who did it didnt apologise and called my friend a drunk. we had only just arrived at the bar and hadn't drunk anything at all.
Beat Bar – Widneswent to this bar on saturday night. went with a group of friends after a party. When we arrived we bought drinks and then i went in search of the cloak room which used to be at the entrance to this bar on the right hand side to put my coat in.. couldnt find it so went to ask the doorman, i was still holding my drink, when i spoke to him he grabbed my arm and took my drink from me and said i couldnt take it outside, i tried to explain i wasnt going outside and just wanted to put my coat in the cloak room but he then pushed me out of the doors and refused me entry back in for being 'agressive towards him'. After 20 minutes of this and the police arriving i got a cab home on my own. Horrible, nasty bar staff, and a vodka redbull was £6.
Beat Bar – WidnesWent at the weekend for dinner with a few mates and the place was buzzing. We had some really good steaks and great service.....i always had a beer in front of me and the guys wine glasses were never empty. If you want a great night this is the place to go in Chester. On our way out the manager made a point of saying bye even though he was delivering drinks to a table....what a great place. Go whenever you get the chance.
The Grill On Newgate Street – ChesterJust had a lovely meal at the new La Perla restaurant. What a very welcome addition to the Nantwich eateries! Great service, good food and authentic Italian ambience. I'd recommend a visit and have already booked my next meal!
Amici – NantwichYou can't get any better than this, clean, warm, friendly and no loud music.A pub where you can talk and laugh and invite friends of all ages and come away feeling good. The fish and chips are to die for !!
