Hoopers Restaurant – WilmslowLucky Petes??? you'd do well to avoid this place.. unhygenic at best, filthy in my opinion, whole family down with bad stomachs.. and watch out for the minger in the kitchen.. one of northwichs skanky birds!! coke whore... ought to be put out of her misery.. sorry, i digress.. just avoid Lucky Petes!! you been warned!!
Lucky Petes – NorthwichYet another wonderful meal, great service and a fabulous night at this restaurant. Noticed last night a sign from the council on display awarding it 5 stars and platinum award for food hygiene and safety! When I enquired with the manager he told me that the hygiene has always been at a 5 star level since opening - well done Turturici!! Curiosity got the better of me, so I decided to look online at the hygiene ratings of other restaurants in the area, and my goodness does this make interesting, even disturbing, reading! From now on I will always check the hygiene rating (food.gov.uk/ratings) before I potentially put my health at risk and spend my hard-earned cash! To top the lot, the manager openly invited me into the kitchen to take a look for myself.... what a fabulous place!!!!!
Turturici – NorthwichRegarding the restaurant Da Piero in Irby, Wirral, I went to go there yesterday (Monday) but it was closed. So i made the booking for tonight but after reading the veggie and vegan menus i had a few questions. They have parmesan on the veggie menu so i asked if it was a vegetarian parmesan to which they told me it was no it was not vegetarian. So, i made the suggestion that why don’t they label it so that it says its not veggie but that didn’t go down too well as she said she has customers who are vegetarians who eat it. She also said she has vegetarian customers who eat fish. I then questioned if the wine in the vegan dishes was actually vegan and she said they cannot guarantee it as their wine suppliers in Italy will not put it in writing. What a joke! They have a veggie and vegan menu with items in it that may not be veggie or vegan!!!She was quite rude to me at first asking me “Do you want your booking or not?” and also saying to me “Well, you won’t be drinking the wine tonight either as we cannot guarantee it is vegan”. I was extremely disappointed in their attitude towards me before i have even stepped in the place and also to their relaxed attitude towards the veggie and vegan menu and lack of detail and information on the menu. I praised her for offering a vegan and veggie menu but what is the point of going if it may not really be veggie or vegan!!!!After all that, I cancelled my booking!!!!!
Da Piero – Irbyawful place! rude staff! we complained about our rank steak and ale pie that tasted like it had been reclaimed from the bin, and all we got was rude staff that then became extremly stroppy with us because we complained. we did not get anything in return and we will never go back to this horrendous place again, due to they're awful food and extremly rude staff.
Holly Bush Inn – Sandbachhad a great time on saturday 7th 2012, dishes varied from disappointing (but ok) to excellent, friendly staff, good atmosphere and good cocktails. sat down with the owner and he was only too happy to get feedback and promised to act upon them. will definitely be going back
Mojo Bar & Tapas – WarringtonI Have used the Seafarer for many years on the assurance that although a few coppers dearer than others I could be assured of their quality. That is until today 09.07.12 when I went in feeling a little peckish around 2pm for sausage and chips, or on opening them in the car should I say portrayed to be. The sausage were hard on the outside with a shin wrinkled resembling a turkey neck and look warm having been obviously left stood in a heated display for hours and then the chips could only be described as greasy potato mush from which I managed to extricate an odd one that was shaped like a chip rather than a block of mushy potato fat and threw over half of them away as totally inedible.Used this facility from the 70's but certainly will not be in a hurry to return.
The Seafarer – Northwichabsolute brilliance the stolen lamb is. a credit to cheshire!!!!
Stolen Lamb – WilmslowJabula, has a happy menu selection. I would say the Durban style curries certainly influence adventures of flavour for example imaybe this is the only style of S African, Indian blend curry, but the best for British people looking for a twist in health..
Jabula Restaurant – Ellesmere Portwow, what a pleasant evening! found Baffito's on this site so went on a weds evening (only about 3 couples eating). I had 5 different foodstuffs sharing with my wife, very good quality, 2 drinks each & coffees the bill was less than £45. Will definitely go again.
Baffito’s Bar & Pizzeria – Warringtonhave just been to the vindaloo for the first time. The food and service was next to none and so reasonable £9.95 for three wonderful courses. Vindaloo Indian Restaurant Contemporary Cuisine – PrentonWe could not fault the service or quality of food we ate.My steak was done to perfection and my wifes lamb was beautiful her words not mine, I would recommend without hesitation 10 out of 10
