We always go to this chippy as they are the best fish and chips. Arthur and his staff are very friendly whenever we go for a takeaway.

Crompton Road Chippy – Macclesfieldmy husband and i decided to go out for Sunday lunch somewhere a little different from our local haunts. we decided to book as we were not so sure if it was going to be busy. we arrived and were pleasantly greeted by the staff and escorted to a table, i asked to sit in the 'posher' left hand side of the pub which was empty at the time, there seemed to be a little hesitation about us sitting there, i initially thought the tables were already reserved but people were coming and going out of that room after we sat down so I'm not so sure why they looked surprised at our request to sit there. the drinks were brought to us promptly but were quite steeply priced. the food arrived quickly too, very well presented on the funky plates looking very contemporary. the mains was delicious but we were given a tiny bowl of mixed veg to share, quite a poor portion a sunday lunch i thought! the dessert arrived shortly afterwards, and it was thoroughly tasty, but im not sure how they justify charging 6 pounds for a 2 inch square of choc brownie with a small scoop of ice cream on top!! the meal in total for 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 desserts, 2 glasses of wine and 2 cokes came to 63.65. i cant grumble over the presentation or quality of food however we never had a table check for any of the courses, and i felt in total it was very over priced, even for a contemporary pub.
Duke Of Portland – NorthwichWould not recommend this place at all, I am on a gluten free diet, I ordered some food from a small chinese lady whom could not understand my order and my requirements and suggested I have prawns on toast!! unprofessional place, would not recommend to any one else to book.
fantastic food, excellent service. with a wide variety of tastes to please any gastronome.
ABode Chester – Chesterpizza roma is the best and most of all the pizzas are excellent from touseef manchester

Blue Ginger – MiddlewichGusto Alderley Edge. My friends and i visited Gusto in Alderley Edge, early September for a girls get together. We were all really impressed overall! Food was delicious and the service was on parr. Our lovely waiter was attentive and helpful, and we were greeted by a very friendly, welcoming brunette host. Gusto was clean and modern, and had a buzz about it even though it was early Wednesday evening. As the night grew on the atmosphere was bubbling. My friend had the fish and the rest of us had pizza and pasta, All impressed with the quality of the food, and the prices were reasonable for big, filling portions. The manager was attentive and came and checked everything was okay with our meals, which was reassuring and a nice touch. As the evening drew on the bar filled up nicely so we moved over from the table to the bar, for a glass of champagne after the meal. All in all, will definitely be going back! Atmosphere, staff and food were all top notch. Cassandra Dawn, Cheadle.
Gusto – Alderley Edgethis has to be the finest Chinese restaurant in the area . the food is fresh and fabulous staff are extremely helpful and nothing is to much trouble, i have asked to change certain food choices in a set menu for something else and its never a problem. i would highly recommend this restaurant but booking ahead is a good idea so as not to be disappointed .
Chopstix – NantwichWent to Firenze last night as a big group and had a great time. We sat downstairs which was ideal for us as it was near to the bar! You can also see your pizzas being made and then cooked in an open kitchen. We had mostly pizzas and pasts and everyone loved them, especially the pizzas. Great party atmosphere, we actually ended up staying on afterwards and drinking at the bar when the DJ started his set at about 11. Will definitely be going back, going to try in the day too.
Firenze – NantwichWhat a refreshing change; excellent service, imaginative food and sophisticated atmosphere. Thank You
Man Zen – KnutsfordWe went to Spirit last Saturday, it is an amazing setting, lovely staff, excellent food.It is a special place to dine out.
Spirit Restaurant – Warringtongreeted by helpful and very friendly staff nothing is too much trouble probably the best tasted for a long time keep up the great work guys cant wait to return soon
The Codfather – NorthwichA real gem obviously run by people who really care about the food they serve and sell. As local Northwich residents we are lucky to have such an excellent establishment on our doorstep.
The Codfather – NorthwichVery disappointing 2nd visit. No chilled sauvignon blanc so opted for another choice. We went for dinner and although the restaurant wasn't very busy - we were served 2 courses within 45 mins - OK for lunchtime but we felt very rushed. Food was good although the mains options are very limited at the moment. Customers (as of last week) were still being asked to pay cash as the payment system/line was not operational. One of the starters was missed off the bill until we pointed this out to staff. I'd go again for breakfast or lunch but not during the evening.
Cafe Salar – LymmSauces that come with the poppadoms are disgusting. The lime one was very sour, the chutney was to thick and sweet, the onion tasted like it had been made that morning and god knows what the other sauce was but it was foul. The egg fried rice tasted odd and the egg was brown :( On a positive note the curry was nice.
Blue Ginger – MiddlewichA complaint I am afraid my family and I visited the Hooton last week and took a table whilst choosing from the menu. After waiting more than 20 mins and nobody came to get our order we left the building!!! Feedback please from the pub would be good.
The Hooton – Ellesmere Porttook kids there during school holidays, they really enjoyed the different choices and t=it really filled them up, such value for money. will definitely go again and i definitely recommend
Fuxion Oriental – Ellesmere PortI recommend changing the letter 'p' with one four positions later in the alphabet for this particular restaurant. Nice work on the bar but the kitchen is yet to deliver anything resembling acceptable or worth going back for. I recommend giving this one a wide berth.
