The Nags Head – ChesterExcellent Italian restaurant with a choice of various pizzas, pastas, salads etc. Good atmosphere, much more authentic than most. Service could be more efficient though!
La Fattoria – ChesterI have been going to Chesters ever since it opened and have never had a bad meal there yet. The staff are attentive and very friendly and Pepe is always courteous and nothing is ever too much trouble for him. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys excellent food and good ambience.
Chesters – MacclesfieldMagnificent roast - Big Red Sundays are a must now! Top staff, and most importantly, superb, local beef!
Red Lion – MarpleI have been going to this restaurant for many years and I've never had a bad meal,in fact every meal has been excellent. The staff and service are top class.very good value for money
Trattoria Baci – LymmIt's not great.....we live locally so are always keen to try it out when it changes hands (in the past 4 years it's been an Italian, an Indian, an Italian and now another Indian. We went in just after it reopened and were surprised that the previous nice decoration had been replaced by horrid cheap salmon and lemon coloured gloss paint, everywhere. Food was just OK, nothing special, and as we were the only customers in there (7pm on a Sat night, not good) all 4 waiters kept hovering round us, asking if everything was OK every 2 minutes. We had a takeaway recently, which took an hour and three quarters to arrive, despite 4 phone calls, and they kept saying "oh, he just left, he'll be with you in 5 minutes" So despite living within 2 miles of the place, there are plenty of other, much better Indian restaurants in the area (Shaad in Congleton being one of them).
Zest Restaurant – SandbachA very warm welcome from the minute you enter. Excellent service from a very attentive and professional staff. Food simply the best with lovely subtle flavours in all the dishes. Go and enjoy.
Vatikka Indian Restaurant – Widnesabsolutely beautiful
Chestergate Bistro – MacclesfieldNice food but far to pricey owner thinks she is running a top class instead of a dingy cafe.
Ristorante Italia – BebingtonWe visited on a Friday evening taking advantage of the 3 courses for £15.95 menu. Free tapas to start is a lovely touch, the food was really tasty and a good choice was available. Service was quick, friendly and attentive. Brilliant price for a lovely meal - definitely worth a visit, we'll be going back.
The Olive Tree – FrodshamExcellent food and service. The staff are always happy to help and the service is very friendly. Lovely pub and great atmosphere.
Holly Bush Inn – SandbachMy wife & I were looking forward to eating at the Dun Cow in view of the good reviews we had read and the award it received in 2011, but in the event we were very disappointed. The atmosphere was good, the staff courteous and attentive. However, although the menu was good and the food well presented, there was a fundamental error in that the plates were barely warm and the food including the soup were lukewarm which severely compromised the whole eating experience. Also we should have been asked if everything was OK during the main course, not waiting until we had finished. One other strange occurrence concerned the cleaning and polishing of the very large table which took an inordinate length of time and consumed much energy by the young waiter. Is the table a valuable antiques for so much love to be dedicated to it? If another award is to be gained in 2012, then attention must be paid to the temperature of the food and plates, and enquiries made if everything is OK during the main course.
Dun Cow – KnutsfordSuperb, authentic Italian food!! Great unobtrusive staff and extremely welcoming - WORTH MANY VISITS

Tropeiro – ChesterWhat a quaint homely pub, as you arrive inside with a warm atmosphere the service is great, good selection of ales and the food in the restaurant was very good and served hot. We were made very welcome. As it was a birthday lunch it was great. Thank you Jill and your team!
