I came here the other day with my boyfriends family . The staff were very friendly and very helpful. I live in Ellesmere Port and my boyfriend live in Wales they said that they would come back to this brilliant restaurant because the food service was brilliant and they enjoyed it.

This restaurant came highly recommended by a number of friends. Although last minute, we were lucky enough to secure a table on a Friday night.We received a genuinely warm welcome from the proprietor and staff. Although the restaurant was full, our order was taken promptly by pleasant staff and drinks were provided straight away - with the food being served within a very reasonable time, thereafter.The food was everything we were told it would be, absolutely delicious, healthy portions, freshly cooked

I can only describe this place in one word, Minging. this place used to be really good. the food was always of high quality. The last 3 times I got a take away, the order was wrong.Items missing, chips wasnt even cooked.No meat in main meal (4 pieces) Onion bhajis were stone cold, and swimming in grease. Into the bin they went. No offer to refund the missing items When I rang to complain, the stroppy woman gave a so what attitude. I have been coming here for over 25 years. But no more. I tried to speak to the manager but they said he wasnt there, except i could hear him in the background, they said he would ring back. He couldnt be bothered Avoid at all costs. They have expanded into the shop next door, but still have a tiny kitchen. This is a real shame, but greed, arrogant staff and poor food quality has let this place down. If you go in for a meal expect to wait hours for any food. And then it wont be very good

Very impressed with the food,staff and atmosphere .Decided on the spur of the moment to try it yesterday and we were so impressed that we will be back.

Poor service. Very poor. Owner was very rude. Shame. Will not be going back again and would offer the same advice.

Recently had a meal sveral times at The Lord Combermere.Really Great Service!Really excellent food, wonderfully preapred and cooked.They also put extra special effort in providing gluten-free items on the menu, which are delicious. I can really recommend the food here, especially if you suffer from coeliacs disease.A gem of a place in the middle of quiet cheshire.

Had a meal their last Monday and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. A real log fire warmed the whole restaurant and the menu was varied and interesting. (New chef I believe). Food is sourced locally and all fresh. I had the Pheasant main course which was outstanding,

Great food and bar man Sean was very attentive and helpful. I don't normally leave tips but he definitely deserved his as I didn't have to get up once!

Went to the Caernarvon Castle in Prenton last Friday with 2 x friends and my wife we had 3 x fish and chips and 1 x Gammon and eggs we all realy enjoyed it. Good service and very friendly staff. Exellent food at a reasonable price. We will be back soon.

Our daughter and future son-in- law took us out to dinner at the cotton mill last week, never been before it was amazing loved all the crockery (slates, pan for soup, blocks as plates,)amazing food will definitely be back soon Thank you.

Visited the Cardamon after work and found the restaurant very quiet. Staff were friendly, service was very prompt and the food, though a bit pricey compared to other indian restaurants in the area, was excellent. Waiter recommended other options on any future visits. Will definitely go back.

Food is good when you eventually get it and if its what you ordered. Totally disorganised and very slow it is pot luck as to what you'll receive - whether it will be what you ordered or something totally different. The last time we go here.

I visit here quite often and I always receive the best service, the food is lovely and the prices are fair too

Under new management - Used to be so much better, the menu's mainly the the same but a few of the more expensive options have gone such as the Duck sizzler - when I visited disapointed had to ask for sauces, and cutlery and the sizzler was VERY salty, my partners fish looked as though it was staright out of a pack into the oven.

Had a meal at this restaurant about three weeks ago. Although it was busy the service was good and the food was very good. The bill was reasonable. No complaints whatsoever

On 28th August we had the pleasure of attending a wedding reception in this great, friendly pub. Karen, Pete and `reluctant` Alex were brilliant in looking after everyone and the food was excellent.. It is unfortunate that we may never have the chance again of another visit as we live nr Cambridge. If you read this, do please go there - you won`t be disappointed.
